Officer Sarah Berkezchuk climbs up on a bridge with a potential jumper in an attempt to talk him down.

Officer Whelan testifies in court against a woman who assaulted her and the Berkezchuks argue over money.

Cary tries to rekindle a romance with Sarah and Molly Whelan dates a weatherman.

A battered wife is hesitant to press charges against her abusive lawyer husband. Also Cary's career change doesn't help the Berkezchuk's domestic situation.

Officers Lynn Stanton and Molly Whelan are attracted to the same man and Officer Berkezcuk tries to comfort Officer Dan Kelly after he fails the sergeant's exam.

On Christmas Eve a gunman uses Lynn as a shield; Molly and Sarah deal with a mother's suicide attempt and her offspring placing blame on a broken romance. A DUI named George Bailey is arrested and Molly's fruitcake finds a fan.

A reality TV crew focuses on Officer Stanton when producing a segment on female cops. Officer Berkezchuk encounters an alcoholic mailman and Officer Whelan is partnered with a 6-year veteran who had been confined to desk work.

Officer Whelan is suspended and faces a hearing after her carelessness contributes to the stabbing of her partner, Heidi Schiller.

After drawing her gun during a confrontation with homeless youths soggier Stanton is troubled about the concept of deadly force, Officer Whelan attempts to learn more about what makes Officer Schiller tick.

Stanton boards a bus being driven by a retiring bus driver to "something special; and Kelly gets shackled by a fellow magician.
