Morale at Manpan is low. CCTV cameras follow everyone everywhere. Early retirements are rife and staff functions are canceled. But the bosses are still living the high life. How can GA2 save the day when they no longer even work there?

Manpan's shares are plummeting but a contract with a major German company is about to be secured by Ukyo. Heinberg's president is coming to Japan, but Ukyo's on his way to Germany. Fortunately, Shomuni have found Ukyo's down-and-out double.

The Ishuin Group enlists the talents of Manpan for the World Women Project. Who's in charge? Ukyo? Wouldn't a mother be a better choice? A baby abandoned in GA2 has several possible fathers and they must revise their plans for the future.

It's time to select the female staff who will appear in the annual calendar. One beauty stands out amongst the candidates, but no one recognizes her. The annual poetry competition is imminent too, but Sugita has lost the Senior M.D.'s poem.

Tokunaga has invested Shomuni's cash in a batch of love sensor toys but a ban on relationships threatens this investment. Personnel employ a mole to catch workplace lovers but they've failed to take into account Kana's powers of seduction.

HR's new scheme for improving skills is "Section Refresh" whereby staff swap departments for a week. The first to swap are Chinatsu Tsuboi and Misono Sugita. Meanwhile, a ship carrying French truffles for an important guest goes missing.

Shomuni are preparing for TV show, Battle of the Office Ladies and the annual health check is looming. A bogus security guard raids Manpan. Meanwhile, HR have to undo their appalling treatment of an plump worker who wants to be a secretary.

Manpan decides to update its computer system but it must ensure that the new system is not compromised by hackers. Tokunaga is training for a walkathon and Rie falls for one of Kamiya's old university friends but suddenly loses her powers.

Terasaki is to decide whether Manpan goes into partnership with an American company. A major promotion awaits him if he's successful and he's been blessed with luck by a golden beetle. But can he really accept the terms being offered?

Manpan's staff are being assessed and HR see an opportunity to cut bonus payments. Ukyo is being headhunted. There's a scramble to secure the best holiday chalets so GA2 are organizing a contest, but members of the top management want them.

A large amount of gifts are stored in Shomuni's department in readiness for a festival. In the past gifts have gone astray so this year Shomuni will stand guard in order to catch a thief. But this means that Ume will miss an important exam.

Manpan is finished. The President and top executives are missing, along with staff funds. President Hayasaka was tricked into spending a fortune on a dry oil field. But the man responsible is an old boyfriend of Chinatsu's. Is there hope?
