Shalom's parents scold him for wanting to be a comedian and want him to concentrate on Torah studies instead. Prosper takes the room promised to Meni, turns it into a sewing room and fulfills his dream of being a tailor.

A group of immigrants from the Caucasus and their leader Vitali from Azerbaijan come to live in the Asayag family block. The Israel Broadcasting Authority (IBA) is announcing a project to turn the televisions around. At the same time, Prosper tries to become the cantor of the synagogue and bribes Rabbi Cohen in Lillian's "The King's Cookies."

Shalom participates in a regional ping-pong tournament and falls in love with an Arab girl who plays against him. The 300 line attacks cause the Assayag family to think that the Arab girl and her brother who came for reciprocal visits are terrorists.
