Three teenagers end up stranded in a parallel universe after visiting an old city museum for a school excursion.

The shifters end up in a world where the dinosaurs never died out, and a vile Lord rules the land. Their only hope of survival is in the hands of a beautiful young Princess - and a battle to the death.

In a world destroyed by war; the shifters are taken underground by Evan Ross - the leader of the human rebellion living beneath the city. Whilst Michael is kidnapped by his great adversary - himself.

Sam is mistaken for a wanted outlaw and for that is imprisoned. It is up to his friends, with the help of an eccentric Irishman, to find the notorious 'Sling Blade Samuel' and convince him to help prove their friends' innocence.

After arriving in an almost 'Perfect World' - the Shifters decide to stay and see how things pan out. However, when six months pass, things begin to go haywire when a discovery is made that could destroy everything.

With natural disasters spreading across the planet; Michael and Sam try and convince Krystal to join them and leave as soon as they can. However two things stand in their way; the fact that Evan is still missing, and even more imminent - the shifting device is no where to be found...and to make matters worse time is literally running out!
