Led to Bright Moon, Bow and Glimmer's hopes for a proper introduction of She-Ra to the Rebellion is complicated by Adora's difficulties summoning the power.

Hoping to begin rebuilding the Princess Alliance, Adora and her friends come to Plumeria, only to find a suffering people who have greater expectations about She-Ra than she herself feels she can satisfy.

Adora and company must go to the watery land of Salineas, and the only sailor who can guide them there is the vainglorious twit, Captain Sea Hawk.

The Best Friend Squad comes to recruit the inventive Princess Entrapta, only to find her estate beset with her technology infected by an evil virus that affects even She-Ra's sword.

The Best Friend Squad's diplomatic mission to the land of Mystacor is threatened by Shadow Weaver using her mystic influence to conquer that land while reclaiming Adora.

When the Friendship Squad comes to a royal function hosted by an aloof princess on neutral territory, Catra comes as well with plans of her own.

With Bow and Glimmer now prisoners of the Horde who also have the Sword of Protection, Adora leads her friends in a rescue mission into the Fright Zone.

Returning to Bright Moon, Adora attempts to help an ailing Glimmer while their supposedly lost colleague is trapped in the Fright Zone and facing a powerful temptation from Catra.

Finding each other in the hidden First Ones' Citadel on their personal quests, Adora and Catra endure the building's security system even as its holographic system makes them relive their shared past.

Adora finds Light Hope for some answers about her calling's past and abilities, even as Catra gains power from Hordac to carry out a grand scheme to defeat all the Princesses.

Empowered by a master plan to defeat The Rebellion and conquer all of Etheria in darkness, Catra lays siege to Bright Moon with only She-Ra and the fractured alliance in her way.
