Eight-year-old Selma finds out that her family is to be evicted from their house, they can not afford to stay. Desperate, she escapes into the winter night.

Selma tries to get Efraim von Trippelhatt to tell her about how to get to Santa's Kingdom. But it is not easy, because Ephraim is allergic to children.

The Traskvist family receives an unexpected visit and Selma receives a fantastic offer. But everything may not be as amazing as it seems.

Ephraim shows how to get to the Kingdom of Santa Claus - with a home-built airship. But something mysterious is going on. Someone, or something, is trying to stop the expedition.

When it seems that Selma's and Ephraim's expedition to the kingdom of Santa does not end, they are called to a mysterious meeting. Does anyone want to help them?

Selma and Ephraim prepare the expedition. But Ephraim worries: Can they make the journey without magic? Lucky then that Selma finds a secret chapter in the Surveyor's book - about magic.

The day of departure has come. The airship is ready to go, but what is the secret that Ephraim has not told Selma?

Finally, Ephraim is heading north toward Santa's kingdom, alone. But he hears something down in the cabin.

Ephraim examines the map of the Kingdom of Santa Claus and realizes that it is not yet complete. It is as if the Surveyor's book still hides many secrets. How are they going to get it to reveal everything?

Ephraim and Selma have made a stopover at the Count of Gruus' manor. But what should they do to access the silver amulet that is the key to the Surveyor's book?

Ephraim's youth love Valborg does not believe in the story that they need her silver jewelry to get to Santa's kingdom. Even less does she believe that a mysterious Santa Claus is trying to steal the amulet.

When the Surveyor's book is unlocked, Selma and Ephraim can go straight to Santa's kingdom. But then they are reached by an unpleasant news - a competing expedition is on their heels.

In the middle of the night, Selma is awakened by mysterious sounds. It sounds like burglars - at an altitude of three kilometers. Has anyone boarded Valborg II?

Nordenstierne has stolen Lantmätaren's book. But Ephraim has a completely different surprise for Selma: he has changed the rudder of the airship. They're going south. Selma can not understand why.

Selma and Efraim have calculated that Nordenstierna must stop in Longyearbyen on Svalbard. The villain can not imagine that our heroes really have not given up. Or that they intend to steal the Surveyor's book.

Selma has found Kettil Felteru's book, but is approached by Rupert. And then she hears what's up in the salon's old attic. A magical creature, trapped in an iron cage.

Now Selma and Ephraim are near their destination, the Kingdom of Santa Claus. They will only find the Mountain with the eternal source. But Selma discovers something else in the binoculars, something horrible.

Valborg II has plunged into the ice sheets north of the Arctic Circle. Selma wakes up in a mysterious inn, where there should only be snow and ice.

Selma and Rupert know that they are close to the gate to Santa's kingdom. But how do they get the last way, over the big mountain? The answer can be found in the Surveyor's book.

Ephraim finally wakes up from his slumber and Selma tells the terrible thing. The Santa Claus intends to send them home. But Ephraim von Trippelhatt does not give up so easily.

Santa's vetting leads our heroes to the gate to Santa's kingdom. But they can only take themselves in. How, is the question. And what's waiting in there?

Nordenstierne is in the process of plundering Santa's kingdom. Selma, Rupert and Ephraim place their hopes on Santa Claus. Surely he shows up at any moment and stops the villains? Because he exists, right?

Selma and Rupert return to the strange village, where they are hailed as heroes. But what secret is it that the villagers are brooding on? And how will the children get home again?

The Traskvist family celebrates Christmas. But it's not very cheerful. If a miracle does not happen, they will be evicted from their house on Christmas Eve. But above all: will they ever get their little Selma back?
