Alex likes Ella. Ella doesn't really know what she wants and when Alex dares to come forward with his feelings, things go a little bit south.

After Alex confesses his feelings, Ella is going through a little bit of a crisis. And crises need best friends, one best friend in particular - Nina. But Nina has other things going on and can't be present for Ella.

Ella's crisis with Alex happened just when Nina was securing her dream job. In the avalanche of notifications from Ella, Nina sent her future employer a text meant for her chat with Ella.

While Alex was seeking advice for his drama with Ella, Ella and Jack were planning a party at Jack's. The party invite proves to be the ultimate group wrecker.

Being on the rocks with Ella and Jack, Alex turns to Nina for advice and comfort. They end up plotting how to stick it to those two, only after concluding that Jack and Ella might be secretly dating.

After ignoring her countless text, Jack finally replies to Nina, trying to explain the whole situation. Some secrets from the past resurface and Jack ends up in an even worse situation than before.

Jack is taking control of the situation and creates a group chat with all his friends so there's no room left for interpretation. They each tell their own perspective and realize that things got a little bit lost in translation.
