After teenage parents Maureen and David Smith tragically lose their baby daughter, they turn to Maureen's older sister Myra and her boyfriend Ian for solace, but the twisted older couple has sick plans in mind for the grieving parents.

After the murderous couple lures David to Myra's home to witness the killing of 17-year-old Edward Evans, Ian is arrested but Myra is allowed to walk free. Maureen refuses to believe that her sister may be involved in a murder even as police find damning evidence out on the moors.
