Secrets of the Dead examines some odd aspects of the legendary dogfight between James "Pug" Southerland and Saburo Sakai. The program reviews the memoirs of the combatants, the capabilities and combat tactics of the Grumman Wildcat and Mitsubishi Zero and the wreckage of Pug's wildcat found in the jungle of Guadalcanal.
