"The Devil Wears Prada" screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna shares her experiences as a writer and the process of bringing the film to the screen. Script to Screen is hosted by the Pollock Theater Director, Matt Ryan, and co-produced by the Pollock Theater student staff. The series is sponsored by the Carsey-Wolf Center, the department of Film and Media Studies and The Scott Frank Fund for Screenwriting.

In honor of the film's 30th anniversary, "Risky Business" writer and director Paul Brickman, award-winning producer Jon Avnet and co-star Curtis Armstrong paid a visit to UCSB, discussing the film's creative development and the movie-making process.

Malcolm McDowell gives a rare insight into the actor's perspective in translating the script to the screen. He allowed us to look deeper into Stanley Kubrick's classic film "A Clockwork Orange" and provides keen advice for aspiring screenwriters about how to attract actors like him to their characters.

Script to Screen was invited to the 2014 WGA and DGA Awards to interview the nominees, winners and their presenters. The film "Nebraska" received 6 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay. The Carsey Wolf Center at UCSB welcomes Bob Nelson who landed the Academy Award nomination for his first screenplay. "12 Years A Slave" was nominated for 9 Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay. The Carsey Wolf Center at UCSB welcomes screenwriter John Ridley for a very emotional and insightful discussion on the film and the screenplay.
