Sander begins working at restaurant "De Blauwe Gier" to earn extra money, and finds himself at the bottom of a vicious pecking order. Mo and Winston want him to go pick up a strange machine. He almost leaves again, until he meets the beautiful Femke.

After Patrick offends the restaurant's Chinese meat supplier, Mo and Winston must find a cow. They do find a cow, but it turns out to have drugs inside it which were being smuggled by Russian mobsters.

Patrick takes control of the kitchen after the Chef is sent to a mental hospital, and starts firing everyone. Ali accidentally severs his finger and tries to retrieve it. Claudia tries to get the attention of all the costumers who are groping Femke.

The Chef offers Sander a promotion. Claudia is ill and in a very bad mood. Ali goes on a mission to find some leek. Mo, filling in for Claudia, tries to strike a lucrative deal with a sheik he met in the restaurant.

Femke is terrified by the arrival of her conservative parents. Patrick smokes a giant joint made by Mo and Winston and spends the way wandering about all spaced out.

The Chef announces that the management wants him to fire someone in the kitchen, so everyone tries to do his/her best. Patrick takes Ali away to film him attacking someone. A case of mistaken identity leaves actor Gürkan Küçüksentürk trapped in Ali's house with by parents. Femke and Claudia have a fight.

With Mo trying out a different job and Patrick taking an impromptu "vacation", the remaining kitchen staff anxiously try to please a food critic. Sander tries to soothe an angry Claudia, but keeps saying the wrong things. Winston misses Mo.

Sander is promoted, and his replacement is an illegal immigrant from Ghana named Kofi. Winston immediately bonds with Kofi, to Mo's dismay. Mo and Patrick try to bully Kofi away. Claudia has a romantic encounter with an escaped patient from a mental hospital. It is Father's Day, and Goran is all wound up and accidentally knocks out Ali's lenses. The Chef may not be entirely cured of his insanity. Femke wants to marry Kofi so he can become a legal citizen.

The kitchen crew play a role playing game, but no-one wants to play Patrick. The Chef tries to dismantle a bomb. Bob hosts a paranormal bingo game.

After the explosion, Sander is presumed dead, saddening the entire kitchen staff. However, Femke is in for a surprise. Winston has somehow been aged by the explosion.
