At the mall, after Katie lies on a job application and is fired, she feels despondent that no one will hire her. Meanwhile, Ryan and Nicky get jobs at the same store and feud while Screech abuses his authority as a security guard.

After Rachel moves to Boston and breaks up with Ryan for another guy, Ryan deals with his resulting anger. Maria feels left out when Katie gets close to the captain of the swim team, and Screech extorts money from students to buy The Max.

With the girls' swim team poised to win the state championship, Liz convinces Screech to let the girls take the under-performing boys' practice time, leaving Ryan feeling dejected. Eric uses his position as reporter to get close to a girl.

Eric must decide whether to confront the racist football coach who doesn't believe he can pass Physics. Meanwhile, Maria and Katie compare Liz to Rachel and Screech wants his own office space.

Maria is excited to get the lead in the school play. But, when a new friend gets her started using marijuana, her role in the play and relationship with Nicky may be jeopardized. Meanwhile, Eric replaces Screech while he's sick.

At the mall, Maria becomes jealous when Nicky dates another girl. Meanwhile, Katie and Eric start using a herbal supplement for energy and Screech tries to catch a purse thief.

Maria and Eric develop a stain remover and decide to sell it. But disaster strikes when it turns out not to be as great as they thought. Meanwhile, Mr. Belding helps Screech overcome his fear of public speaking.

An agent offers Eric a contract, but only if he switches to gangster rap. Meanwhile, Liz has trouble with how unhealthy the cookies she sells are, Ryan doesn't respect Nicky's authority, and Screech trains a rookie.

Katie feels pressured to be as good as her older sister after she is awarded a Rhodes scholarship and is invited back to Bayside to receive an award during homecoming. Meanwhile, Liz is nervous to the homecoming dance with Ryan.

Maria struggles to find - and keep - a job for her brother Tino, a fiasco-prone slacker. Meanwhile, Ryan coaches Eric for - and through - a trivia contest (for which Ryan is ineligible), with a new power-ski at stake.

Nicky is discouraged when the gang won't help him with a ski trip fundraiser. Meanwhile, Screech thinks Mr. Belding is falling in love with the new French teacher.

To garner controversy, Maria reveals that Ryan and Nicky both like Liz on her television show in the hopes of getting a show on Cool TV, putting her friendship with the gang in jeopardy.

Ryan and Nicky's relationship as stepbrothers is strained as they both date Liz. Meanwhile, Maria drives Katie and Eric crazy with demands for a not-so-surprise birthday party.

When Ryan and Liz fight over a project, Liz goes to the formal with Nicky to get back at Ryan, but she soon questions her feelings for Nicky. Meanwhile, Screech wants to buy Mr. Belding's car.

After Bayside wins the state swim tournament, Liz's father becomes obsessed with her becoming an Olympic star and sets her up on a strict practice regimen. Meanwhile,Screech, Nicky, and Eric accidentally destroy the championship trophy.

Screech starts dating the substitute music director, but the gang become convinced that, since she's beautiful, she's only using him to get a permanent job at Bayside.

At the mall, Ryan and Liz have a fight on their one month anniversary. After the boys are stuck in the elevator, the gang remember events of the past season to help Ryan and Liz get over their relationship problems.

The gang travel to Paris for a month-long program. Maria, Nicky, and Katie sneak out and have dinner in the Eiffel Tower's restaurant, but don't have enough money to pay the bill. Eric is homesick and Mr. Belding and Screech share a room.

At the Reynolds's home, disaster strikes as the boys cut corners to get the living room finished so they can leave for a trip they won. Meanwhile, Maria spray paints her cheek blue and Mr. Belding and Screech fight over the flower beds.

In Paris, Liz is jealous that Ryan's falling for the group's photographer while Eric pretends to like Paris to impress a girl. Meanwhile, Screech plasters Mr. Belding's head.

The gang build a Habitat for Humanity home for the Reynolds family. Maria falls for their oldest son, but soon treats him as if he's beneath her. Ryan, Nicky, Eric, and Liz try to get on TV while Mr. Belding and Screech build a mailbox.

During the gang's last days in Paris, Eric decides he wants to stay so he can be with Danielle. Meanwhile, Ryan, Katie, and Liz are swindled for a fake Picasso sketch while Screech drives Mr. Belding crazy with a whirlwind tour schedule.

Katie and Eric join ROTC in hopes of getting scholarships. But when the squad hassles Katie for being a girl, Eric, as squad leader, must do the right thing and report them. Meanwhile, Screech thinks he's dying.

The gang go on a wilderness hiking and camping adventure. Maria complains about being there and is sent back with Ryan. But Maria's inability to deal with the trip may put their lives in jeopardy.

On the wilderness trip, Nicky and Katie's feelings for each other rekindle, causing Katie to worry Nicky will cheat on her again. Meanwhile, Ryan passes the time with a broken leg while Mr. Belding and Screech search for a rare bird.

The Bayside students end their wilderness trip and prepare to return to school. But when Screech is accidentally left behind, he and Mr. Belding have a fight that could ruin their friendship.
