The show returns putting more people through the SAS selection process. For the first time female recruits are joining the men with no allowances or exceptions made for them. The opening round comes from the Chilean Andes.

The remaining male and female participants face further gruelling challenges designed to test both their mental and physical strength -including a 200-foot forward abseil and the infamous boxing task.

The remaining recruits endure the 5th and 6th days of their training, which involve trekking through snow and camping out during a blizzard.

The staff whittle down the strongest men, whilst keeping a few women to make up the numbers.

The remaining recruits are tasked with crossing a 200-metre gorge, swimming under the ice on a frozen lake and navigating a perilous valley at night while trying to avoid capture by a local force and their dogs.

With the most tv worthy contestants left, it's now time to find the traitor in the group for the interrogation stage.
