The Los Angeles police force adds a dog named Sam to the team. Officer Mike Breen is assigned as his partner and despite doubts Sam soon proves his worth to everyone.

Mike Breen and Sam fail to apprehend a thief loaded with loot from a weapons store. The officer and his dog then are assigned to track down a truckload full of stolen goods.

Mike Breen and Sam are assigned to find a kidnapped $25,000 show dog. But as they proceed they are first interrupted by a purse snatcher. Then a building collapses and a frightened little girl needs rescuing.

When a burglar seriously injures himself with a gun, Sam is thought to be to blame. Mike works to clear his canine partner, knowing his apprehension skills are excellent.

Officer Mike and partner Sam have a dangerous assignment when an infected monkey is stolen from a research lab. The two are tasked with finding the simian before an outbreak occurs.
