Sakura no Oyakodon

Ninomiya Azami (Miyu Yoshimoto) and Rie (Miki Yanagi) are leading a lifestyle full of delinquent behavior. One night, when they find a good hiding spot after being chased by mobs, Rie points out that there is a good place where they serve free food. There, they meet other people from various backgrounds with all kinds of personal problems. When they get to the place, the owner Sakura decides to cook them a hot meal.

Fuka Saeki (Nana Asakawa) drops by at Sakura's (Miki Maya) book store, with her 3 year old daughter. Sakura tries to find out from her, the kind of lifestyle she had been leading, since she became a single mother. Fuka tells her that there's someone she's been going out with, and that she's intending on living with him. Meanwhile, things get a little complicated when Sakura finds out about her son's murder which took place 16 years ago.

Kyoko (Yuika Motokariya), the daughter of Sakura (Miki Maya), who visit's her mother's work place for the first time in a while, has been working as a member of the press for a criminal incident involving an underage girl. It turns out that the suspect had been kept in a juvenile detention center for a year, and after coming out, she has once again been enjoying the night scene. Meanwhile, Azami Ninomiya (Miyu Yoshimoto) has been hanging out with the suspect's delinquent group.

Sakura (Miki Maya) finds out that Kyoko (Yuika Motokariya) had been working as a member of the press on a serious crime case involving a child. She soon finds out that the victim of this crime is one of Azami Ninomiya's (Miyu Yoshimoto) peers, and that the victim had been bedridden for a long time.

Kyoko (Yuika Motokariya) is feeling down after leading Sakura (Miki Maya) on, to clear out a room of the lost brother, as a result of her remarks. Meanwhile, Shunta tries to comfort Kyoko, however, he slips-up while doing this and reveals some information which should have been kept a secret, regarding Azami Ninomiya's (Miyu Yoshimoto) and her family relations.

Sakura (Miki Maya) purposely begins to stay away from Azami Ninomiya (Miyu Yoshimoto), after finding out about their fated connection. She now has no idea how she should be around her. In the midst of all of this, Kyoko (Yuika Motokariya) comes back to the book store, due to her curiosity about her mother's strange behavior.

Recently, not many people are coming down to the store to eat "Oyakodon" cooked by Sakura (Miki Maya). The kids seem to be hooked on playing table tennis. Meanwhile, one of the kids who find out about a table tennis tournament on SNS comes to the book store.

The arrest warrant situation involving Sakura (Miki Maya) seems to have calmed down. Meanwhile, when Sakura asks Azami about her past, Azami begins to open up about her emotional past memories. And after coming across some leaked information on the internet, Kyoko finds out that the criminal involved in one of the cases is Azami's actual mother.
