Detective Carter, a radical LAPD detective and Detective Lee, a by-the-book detective from Hong Kong, are forced to form an unlikely partnership.

To crack a robbery-homicide, Carter must sneak his cousin Gerald out of jail to use his contacts on the street to help get to the bottom of the crime.

Carter and Lee search for a young graffiti artist who witnessed the murder of an LAPD detective, and is the link to the suspect, an infamous criminal.
