Liz takes drastic action when she fears Malcolm's dementia is beginning to deteriorate. Eileen feels powerless in the face of a changing future. Stevie continues to struggle with his grief following Raymond's death.

Trouble is brewing for Angus and Bob as the victim of their car accident comes looking for answers. Angus is convinced they're both going to end up in jail, but how far is he willing to go to make sure that doesn't happen? Bob is caught between a rock and a hard place as his feelings for Ailsa continue to develop, but how can he continue dating her when everything they have is based on a lie?

Kirsty stands up to ridicule at school and makes a life-changing decision with Finn - for better or worse, she has yet to discover. Angus is stoked when Zinnie agrees to date him again, but will it live up to her expectations?

Kirsty puts herself in grave danger when efforts to make Finn jealous take a perilous turn. An unexpected flirtation in the pub sees Alan get his mojo back, but a call from the hospital brings the night to an abrupt end. And Robbie worries about the growing distance between him and Will.

Angus wakes from a drug-induced sleep to learn that Kirsty is fighting for her life in hospital. When he realises he's the architect of her downfall, he's riddled with guilt but with a distraught Finn in the frame it looks like he might get away with it. Will finds himself at odds with DI Donald and Robbie as he fights to prove Finn's innocence. And Alan makes a difficult call to his estranged wife about their daughter's condition.

Kirsty's even more disappointed when she learns that her brother Angus has moved out to escape the wrath of their father over the drugs Kirsty took. Angus has a tough decision to make when the police come knocking, while Robbie and Will worry about Finn's suspicious behaviour.

Molly is forced to confront some home truths when a fall at home leaves her scared and vulnerable. Scarlett tries to convince her mum to accept help, but Molly's got her own ideas. With Finn's sixteenth birthday on the horizon, the Fraser-Cooper household consider their options about his ongoing care, but are they all on the same page? Kelly-Marie is determined to find a job for Patrick, despite his qualms. And Bob takes Angus hillwalking.

Feeling like a third wheel in his own home, Robbie decides to let his hair down with Kelly-Marie and falls prey to temptation, which propels him into a world of secrets and lies. An oblivious Will is too distracted by the arrival of Finn's sister Catriona to notice that anything is amiss in his marriage. The rift between Kelly-Marie and Scarlett grows.

Alex is becoming increasingly uncomfortable with the situation in Chrome as Lenny's men make their presence felt, but it is Patrick who takes a stand by quitting, for fear of ending up back in jail. When Kelly-Marie discovers what is going on she gives Lenny an ultimatum that backfires, leaving her relationship in tatters. Alex needs to bring Lenny down and salvage his relationship, but who will pay the price?

Under scrutiny from social services and struggling financially, Alan finds himself at breaking point when Rhona asks for a divorce. Can Kirsty stop her stressed-out father doing something he's sure to regret? Finn's absence shines an uncomfortable light on Will and Robbie's relationship, while a professional encounter with Patrick Adams angers Will.

Will comes under suspicion when Patrick is found beaten in the street, forcing Robbie to make a devastating confession. Scarlett visits Patrick in hospital and makes a difficult decision of her own. After the closure of Chrome, Lenny needs cash and fast. Luckily there's a debt he can call in, bringing an unpopular figure back to the streets of Shieldinch.

The results of Stella's genetic testing send her spiralling out of control, putting pressure on her relationship with Stevie. Can he save her before she makes a huge mistake? Seeking guidance, Stevie finds himself on his father's doorstep, and is forced to face up to the biggest decision of his life. Meanwhile, Robbie struggles to accept that his marriage might be over. And Dan comforts Tatiana when she receives some troubling news.
