There's a new sarge at K-9 and he's rough and tough and riding with Hank. Their first assignment is to hunt down a drug lab.

Hank and Steve are held at gunpoint in their own home by a woman who just shot and killed a police officer.

Hank investigates a rash of dog-nappings. His investigation becomes more desperate when Rudy goes missing while working undercover.

Renee witnesses a dirty cop steal drug money from a crime scene and he threatens to kill her if she tells anyone.

A beautiful woman falls at Hank's feet and it turns into a whirlwind romance, but the secrets she carries may stop it before it really has time to start.

Steve feels forced to go to a party that he doesn't want to go to because he knows there is drugs involved. An old friend (who has a bad past) comes to visit Hank, saying that he has turned over a new leaf.

Hank and Rudy are trapped in a building after a bomb meant to kill him goes off, but nobody knows where he is or why he's there. Stevie waits anxiously for his father to show up to watch his school play.

Rudy/Rinty is shot during a police chase and refuses to cooperate again. Sgt. Phillips announces that Rudy has two days to change or he would be retired...or put down.

Ron is rude to everyone as he feels sorry for his being confined to a wheelchair, but his confidence is tested when he suddenly has to fight against bad guys who threaten him and his wife if he doesn't hand over the damning evidence.

Renee is listed in serious condition after she is shot by robbers, and Hank must find the robbers before they find her.

Hank gets involved in a sticky family matter when he catches an old man shoplifting groceries. The man is being abused by his son who is bootlegging new movies.

Hank and Renee find themselves in a hostage situation while attending Hank's high school reunion on a ship. They aren't aware that Rudy and Stevie are down below also hard at work on the newest mystery.

Rudy feels a miniature horse is in danger and takes it from it's home. This starts an investigation that Stevie and Hank also get involved in. The horse is owned by a boy who's mother is verbally abusive toward him.

Hank and Stevie go to a resort without Rudy for a father/son weekend, but trouble soon arises when Stevie suddenly grows ill from a mysterious illness and comes up missing. But he's not the only one missing.

When Stevie discovers a friend of his is using steroids to gain popularity, Hank gives him an important decision to make.

While visiting the zoo, Rudy is shot by a poison dart and becomes very dangerous. He may need to be destroyed.

While in Paris on a K-9 workshop, Hank and Rene are asked to assist in a murder investigation involving stolen diamonds worth millions of dollars. Stevie doesn't want to stay because he left a girl at home.

The Paris saga continues when the diamond thief is murdered. The only clue they have is one brown shoe Rudy managed to get off the fleeing culprit.
