The Caddy family of Bristol rank in the top ten per cent of Britain's wealthy, they swap places with the eight-strong Williams family from Weston-Super-Mare who live in a rented, three-bedroom house.

The wealthy Bentley family swap their imposing, four-bedroom mansion and luxury cars for life in the small, rented home of hard-working, single, mother-of-four Angela Carter-Begbie.

The Heasmans live in a luxurious farmhouse with 6 acres of land in rural Essex, while the Webb family rent a tiny maisonette in a London tower block. How will the two families find their new home and budget?

The Hellings family from Exeter are in for a real surprise when they swap with the Hays family. Not only will they exchange their small budget for over a thousand pounds but also move into the castle the Hays call home.
