Rolf is dead. Yvonne continues to lead Transbaltic together with Henrik Bjurhed. Reidar is cared for at home during the grief of his dead son. Freja gets a new bar manager.

Tony has resigned from Transbaltic and is looking for a new job. He is offered by Reidar a place at Dahléns, something that Renate is not fond of. Kåkå suspects that Viggo is abusing drugs and seeks out Raspen to make him remember Viggo.

Kåkå tries to put Viggo there and goes with Sara to Sara. Tony has started at Dahlén's office as purchasing manager. This causes Renate to switch to Transbaltic. Renate and Yvonne immediately have cooperation problems.
Feb 03, 1994
Mona Kjellgren starts as Dahlén's secretary. Tony immediately starts flirting with her to Elizabeth's annoyance. Yvonne steps on board as acting curator at Freja. Jussi is back too. He is taken injured to Raspens cabin.

Henrik who hired a new oil supplier, Baku Oil. Tony and Mona go to dinner and Irma is contacted by the bailiff. Sofie wants to be reunited with Jussi, but Jussi instead chooses to invest in Sara. Transbaltic needs to save money.

Three skinheads come on board Freja who turns out to be Raspen's friends. They make a fuss at the bar and Emilio intervenes. One of the skinheads is stabbed by accident.

Pehr Silver makes his entrance and tries to buy Transbaltic, but gets the nob. He seeks out Elisabet. Gustav has to lend money to Irma and asks Sofie for a loan to Irma.

The agreement with Baku Oil is a failure when Freja released tons of dangerous heavy oil. Freja has had an engine breakdown. Viggo plants drugs in Kåkås cabin and shows it to Raspen. Raspen does not believe in Kåkå about the rape.

Viggo has reported for the rape at Kåkå, but is released. Transbaltic is applying for new loans to be able to finance the repairs on Freja, but Sydbanken is canceling these loans instead. Henrik proposes to Renate.

Transbaltic is close to bankruptcy. At Freja, Raspen discovers that Jussi is smuggling cars. Sara wants to go on holiday with Jussi to the sun and Raspen destroys Emilio's birthday party.

Reidar and Tony buy Transbaltic. Rebecca comes with her son, Ragnar, who visits Ola in prison. Raspen sells Jussi's car, which Sara runs out of. Raspen's friends come to Freja again. Viggo then rapes Irina.

"Rederiet" is one of the most successful and longest running series in Swedish television history. But there are other people who try to gain control over the company, which leads to a constant struggle for the power. We also get to follow the life on board the ship, where people fall in love and break up. There are also struggles for higher positions on the ship and some people use their position to make some extra money. And in the middle of all that, there may be troubles with the passengers or with the ship which have to be solved. There will be terrible accidents, deaths, murders, smuggling, theft, infidelity, arson, rape, drugs, insanity and many other terrible things. But there will also be a lot of love and friendship and maybe some unknown relatives will show up and some others, who we thought were gone, will appear again...
