Aarón blames his father, the landlord Abraham Paredes for robbing him of his inheritance. Meanwhile at the local bar a fight starts when Corazón makes a food delivery and the owner, Estacia refuses to pay. Numa Pompilio is a rich family man and in war of life and death with the Paredes. He intercepts a letter correspondence between his daughter Yomira and one of Abraham's sons - Damián.

Numa Pompilio decides to put a fence around his land for protection. Corazón gets a prediction from her stepfather, the witch doctor Arcángel. The party at the Paredes hacienda is interrupted by Aarón and Abraham arguing about money, rights and the way his father threats Belinda, Aarón's mother.

Mauricio and the workers are forced to return home in the nude and Numa Pompilio punishes them for being humiliated by the Paredes. Esther is fussing over the arrival of her daughter and suggests to Aarón to become Corazón's godfather. Abraham gives his blessing to Gustavo to marry Eloisa.

Abraham is beaten by a scorpion and goes to Arcángel for help. Aarón gives to Corazón a present from Eloisa. The Paredes family welcomes Abraham's son Damián, who instead of becoming a lawyer, became a priest. Lídia can't persuade Aarón to marry her.

Corazón is baptized despite all her objections against Aarón being her godfather and feels betrayed by her own family. Yomira is happy and impatient to see Damián. During a family council Abraham clarifies to his children they'll live under his orders.

The Paredes family is looking after the beaten up Anastacio. Yomira is devastated to find Damián being a priest and only offering her pure friendship. Corazón shares with Mercedes her dream of becoming a great, sophisticated lady. Esther and Reinaldo welcome home their daughter María Angélica.

Corazón is wrecked with guilt after insulting Belinda and Eloisa shows up, bringing gifts and to offer her friendship. Aarón meets María Angélica. Abraham opens up to Belinda and demands the rest of her fortune in exchange for her liberty. Yomira suffers from a severe depression.

Numa Pompilio makes Mauricio write a note on Yomira's behalf to Damián. Corazón is furious with her family for accepting money from Abraham to refurnish the shack. Eloisa remodels the hacienda for her upcoming 15th birthday. María Angélica decides to play with Aarón.

Numa Pompilio is about to shoot Damián when Yomira turns up and announces he's a priest. Corazón is serving at María Angélica's fancy dinner when Aarón arrives and fills the drawing room with chickens. Abraham has a present for Eloisa and takes care of Damián's bruises.

Derián is outraged with Abraham when Jaime's shack burns down. Corazón brings homemade pastries to Belinda. Aarón promises his goddaughter to transform her into a lady. María Angélica wants to return to Maracaibo. Abelardo introduces himself to Anastacio.

Numa Pompilio accuses Abelardo for being a coward after letting Anastacio punch him. María Angélica acts all superior and threats Aarón like an ignorant peasant. Corazón returns Abraham's gifts and he is quite taken by her spunk. Damián offers Yomira an alliance in order to end the family war.

After the latest fight between Abelardo and Anastacio, Reinaldo and his brother Emilio summon the patrons of the clans at Estacia's bar. Corazón won't leave Belinda, who has a fever and Arcángel is called to cure her. María Angélica learns that Aarón has wagered to win her heart.

Corazón watches over Belinda and Arcángel has a premonition. Numa Pompilio welcomes his nephew Tiberio, who wants to avenge the murder of his father. Abelardo approaches Damián to discuss an eventual peace between the families. Lídia warns María Angélica to stay away from Aarón.

Mauricio and his cousins are drunk and in their blabbering Estacia overhears their intentions to crash Eloisa's birthday party. Arcángel encounters Abelardo and tells him about his premonition. Aarón gives a new dress and earrings to Corazón to wear for the party.

It's a beautiful evening and the Paredes hacienda is full with guests to celebrate Eloisa's birthday. Corazón is upset when she eavesdrops on Aarón proposing to María Angélica. Abelardo, all dressed up infiltrates the party while Mauricio and his cousins circle the hacienda.

The birthday girl is kissed by a stranger but becomes very unhappy when Abraham announces her engagement to Gustavo. Anastacio busts Abelardo. María Angélica mocks Aarón in front of her friends. Corazón realizes her love. Mauricio and his cousins are in peril.

When Numa Pompilio learns that a Sarmiento has been killed at the party, grabs his gun and storms into the Paredes hacienda. Arcángel predicts another death. Corazón is pouring her heartache in the church when Aarón turns up and starts asking her uncomfortable questions.

Aarón, heavily drunk arrives at Corazón's shack and mistakes her for María Angélica. Damián is thrown out from the Sarmiento hacienda in their hour of mourning. Numa Pompilio plots with Mauricio to poison Anastacio while he's in jail. Eloisa receives a present for her birthday from Corazón and they lay the foundation of a sincere friendship.

Abraham shouts at Eloisa for going to the Sarmientos to offer condolences. Abelardo confides in Yomira he's in love. Aarón maroons Corazón by the river and demands the keys for the handcuffs. Numa learns that the poisoned food for Anastacio has been delivered at the police station.

Anastacio has food poisoning. Abraham offers Aarón a business deal. Tinita, an orphan befriends Corazón, who is obligated to do Aarón's laundry and on top of that is arrested on a suspicion of poisoning Anastacio. Eloisa enjoys a secret rendezvous with her handsome stranger.

Numa Pompilio denies any participation in the poisoning in front of the commissioner and Reinaldo. Aarón is suffering from María Angélica's contempt and gets comfort from Damián. Corazón is heartbroken to overhear her godfather's opinion of her.

Damián learns about Eloisa and Abelardo's romance. María Angélica insults Aarón's intelligence and he takes it out on Corazón. Numa Pompilio tells the story of how the war with the Paredes started. Abraham discusses with Miguel Felipe the charging of Anastacio for Tiberio's murder.

Yomira haunts Damián's dreams. Miguel Felipe proves that the murder weapon doesn't belong to Anastacio. Corazón gets a book on etiquette and Eloisa finds the make-up section fascinating. Gisela visits Anastacio. Arcángel is detained by the authorities for predicting Tiberio's murder.

Following Abelardo's warning, Eloisa and Corazón run to the field to save Aarón, who is in danger of being killed by Mauricio. Arcángel is released. Reinaldo receives a note he'll be audited. Abraham learns who planted the poisoned food for Anastacio.

Abraham interrogates Eloisa about her intel that Aarón was in peril and about her promenade with a stranger. María Angélica slaps Corazón in front of Esther. Tinita chooses a godfather. Reinaldo faces financial and social ruin. Yomira lies to Padre Ignacio.

Reinaldo shares with Aarón his embezzlement and the need to save his reputation. Numa Pompilio comes to a conclusion and shares his thoughts with Mauricio. Abraham questions Corazón about Eloisa's admirer. Damián is against his sister using the church for secret meetings.

Corazón has a tiff with Agripina, refuses Damián's offer to make a confession and comes home right when Arcángel and Evelia are mocking the book on how to be a great lady. Aarón lures María Angélica to a hotel room to give her the check that will save Reinaldo.

Damián urges Yomira to knock some sense into Abelardo regarding the false identity. María Angélica has a change of heart. Aarón finds Mauricio at the bar. Abraham asks Corazón to resume working for his family. Reinaldo informs his wife and daughter their house is mortgaged.

The news of Aarón clashing with Mauricio travels like lightning and Corazón rushes to the Paredes hacienda, so does María Angélica. When Numa Pompilio is unable to locate Yomira, his anger brings him to the church to face Damián. Abelardo confides in his sister he won't give up on his love.

Damián is in a dangerous situation when Numa Pompilio inspects the church for his daughter and Eloisa shows up a few minutes before Abelardo's arrival. Aarón delivers a note from Belinda to Corazón asking for forgiveness for Agripina's rudeness. Reinaldo interrogates Abraham about Pantoja.

It's the evening of the party at the Guilléns. Corazón serves drinks to the guests and decides to pour some love potion (she pinched from Arcángel) into one particular glass. Aarón pushes Damián to confide in him what are his feelings and intentions regarding Yomira.

Corazón is upset after the big announcement and gets drunk. Arcángel is arrested. Numa Pompilio is determined to get to the bottom of Pantoja's murder and gives orders to his henchman to bring him Nereo.

Corazón decides to run away to Maracaibo but on the bus bumps into Estacia, who had the same idea. Damián is scandalized with Agripina's confession and she turns to her demon ways to peek into the future. Abraham and Anastacio punish two of their own man for Nereo's downfall.

Corazón is thrown back into the jail cell. Abelardo interrogates Numa Pompilio about Nereo and in the heat of the argument, his father brings up the topic of Eloisa. Abraham explains to Derián his philosophy on life, love, family and security. Aarón visits Lídia, who is tired of his indifference and interest in María Angélica.

A few people plant into Aarón's mind that Corazón is in love with someone. Abraham makes an indecent proposal. María Angélica is shocked to discover how bright and well read is Derián. Reinaldo learns what happened to Nereo. Abelardo refuses to excuse his father's actions and way of life.

Damián offers Corazón a small position in the church to take care of things. Abraham lays down to Arcángel the price of the prolong mortgage. Derián can't take it anymore with the killing, blood, vengeance and breaks down in front of Aarón. Tinita lies to her godfather.

Arcángel explains to Mercedes Abraham's condition regarding the mortgage. Corazón opens up to Damián. Abraham confronts Nivia, who has designs on selling the land to Numa Pompilio. Aarón storms out of María Angélica's home when she proposes to arrange a maid position for Corazón in Maracaibo.

Mauricio threatens Abelardo to break off his relationship with Eloisa and he writes a letter proposing a rendezvous. Abraham plots to retrieve the land by sabotage in which Numa Pompilio would be the guilty party. Corazón throws into María Angélica's face what modesty and virtue signify.

Corazón is terrified when all hell breaks loose on the account of Eloisa's heartache and Damián going to the Sarmiento mansion to see Abelardo. In the same time Yomira is unable to stop her brother Abelardo, who leaves for the Paredes hacienda to talk to Eloisa.

Damián, all beaten up and in dreadful condition gets to the church. Meanwhile Abraham discusses with Albino and his son Manuel the land and Eloisa faints from fear of facing her father. Numa Pompilio won't listen to any explanations from Yomira or Abelardo.

Yomira visits Damián at the church after the beating and bumps into Abraham, who is fascinated by her whole personality. Corazón declines to tell Aarón the reason for Eloisa's crisis and the conversation ends with the comparison between her and María Angélica.

Eloisa strongly disagrees to marry Gustavo and Corazón tries to defend her decision in front of Abraham. Derián discovers the sabotage of Albino's land and confronts his father. Padre Ignacio asks Damián about his feelings and intentions regarding Yomira.

The Paredes family welcomes Abraham's highly educated nephew, Francisco. Corazón is frightened when her godfather uses a word she didn't understand and goes to Esther for advice and clearance. Belinda shows Derián a photo of his mother and some documents.

Corazón and María Angélica get into another argument about Aarón, and are unaware that he is eavesdropping. Derián shows to Eloisa the photo of their mother and gives her support regarding her decision not to get married. Abraham has a drink with Padre Ignacio and discuss Damián's position.

Eloisa suffers a terrible ordeal. Reinaldo informs Emilio about the dispute between Abraham and Numa for Albino's land. Corazón meets Francisco, who offers to help opening a school for poor children. Damián learns the identity of Corazón's suitor. Agripina won't tell Derián more about his mother.

Mauricio plots with Rafael and Trino to assassinate Abraham without the knowledge of Numa Pompilio. Corazón wants Aarón out of her life for good and seeks guidance from Damián. Abraham makes a marriage proposal. Reinaldo offers to buy Albino's land.

During a chat with Arcángel, Aarón accidentally discovers Abraham's interest in Corazón. Agripina dresses up as a bride and completely looses her marbles after an ugly scandal with Abraham. Mauricio puts his assassination plan on hold and spends the time with Evelia.

Aarón is outraged with Abraham's marital proposal and accuses Corazón of being a gold digger. Mercedes learns of Mauricio's visit. Meanwhile María Angélica receives the reassurance of getting married soon. Abraham hires a tailor to sew Eloisa's wedding dress.

Damián explains to Corazón and Aarón the responsibilities of becoming godparents to the abandoned Tinita. Eloisa is tampering with a bottle of pills but gets busted. Manuel reassures Numa Pompilio the land will be his. Yomira gets a devious idea after discovering Manuel's crush on her.

Yomira gives the go ahead to start the wedding preparations. Abraham is shaken to learn about Eloisa and the pills. Esther tricks Corazón to agree to help with the wedding. Numa Pompilio questions Reinaldo about his intention of buying Albino's land.

Eloisa is in a terrible situation when Aarón argues with Abraham over his persistence to marry her off to Gustavo and Corazón does everything to support her best friend. Numa Pompilio is delighted but incredibly suspicious of Yomira's sudden decision to wed.

Belinda helps Derián to retrieve the letters of his mother from Agripina's room. Corazón begins painting Esther's house and Aarón pesters her whether she'll accept Abraham's marital proposal. Arcángel is angry with Evelia for being involved with Mauricio.

Arcángel is beaten up by Rafael in Estacia's bar. Corazón is honest with Francisco, who guesses the reason for her irrational behavior. Numa Pompilio rushes Manuel to get the papers in order and to buy the land. Agripina threatens her rival with a gun and can't make Eloisa confide in her anymore.

Abraham receives an unwanted visitor in his chamber during the night. Aarón falls into another jealous rage in front of Damián, who wants to help him clarify his feelings. Derián reads his mother's letters and cries on Belinda's shoulder. Yomira is very unhappy.

While talking to Lídia, Abraham is shot and Anastacio investigates the premises. María Angélica offers to Corazón her friendship. Yomira hires Modisto but Numa worries about this fast wedding. Aarón is thinking about Corazón's suitors and learns from Arcángel the prediction she'll marry a Paredes.

The Samiento family welcomes Tiberio's brother, Marco. Aarón fails again to get his money from his father and on top of that is confused in his feelings for Corazón. Felipe shows to Abraham the results of his investigation of Numa Pompilio's lawyer.

Corazón wants to give some soup to Abraham and Agripina again forbids her to enter the house when Aarón and María Angélica interrupt. Marco criticizes Numa for not being ruthless with the Paredes family and Reinaldo arrives to make some inquiries about the shooting.

A beauty parlor opens in town and Evelia helps the owner, a kind woman named Nelly. Corazón keeps busy painting while a few feet away Aarón celebrates with Abraham and the Guillén family. It's Yomira's wedding and the most awful gift awaits on the church steps.

Mauricio is drowning in hurt and hatred and holds a gun to Damián's head. Numa Pompilio's lawyer is put on the spot by Abraham. Trino is injured and informs the Sarmientos that Albino has been shot. Yomira has an unexpected visitor that tell her 3 things, which bring her comfort.

Corazón is happy with her pretty manicure and receives a beautiful present from Damián, who thinks of leaving town. Yomira cries and blames her fate in front of Padre Ignacio. Abraham and Aarón are at Albino's house when a worker announces Numa Pompilio is approaching.

Corazón gets into an argument with two of her rivals which leads to Agripina revolting against Abraham as she threatens to reveal all his secrets to his children. Numa Pompilio visits Albino and offers to buy the land again. María Angélica asks Aarón to choose between her and Corazón.

Numa Pompilio and Manuel arrive to the conclusion that Galue has been recruited by Abraham and the papers of the land are in his possession. Aarón is a sad and confused groom to be and Belinda tries to help him realize his feelings. Evelia aggravates Corazón.

Corazón is treated to a beauty makeover for the wedding and Evelia won't stop teasing her sister for being hopelessly in love. Yomira has a nervous breakdown and dresses up like a bride which frightens Mauricio. Eloisa urges Aarón to be honest with himself regarding Corazón.

The wedding turns into a farce. Mauricio forces Damián to be honest with Yomira. Agostini has bad news for Manuel regarding Albino's condition. Abraham gets kissed.

Aarón is drowning his pain and problems in alcohol when Abraham shows up and starts judging him. Damián listens to Corazón's confession who feels humiliated and ashamed and things get worse when Arcángel insults her unjustly. María Angélica is talking about revenge.

Corazón wants to hide from everyone and accepts Nelly's offer to stay with her. Numa Pompilio visits the devastated Guillén family to offer his support. Aarón learns from Mercedes that Corazón has moved out and starts looking for her immediately.

Marco shoots three men from the Paredes clan. Abraham shows Mercedes and Evelia a beautiful house, in which they'll be living without paying rent. Tinita storms into Nelly's parlor and demands to see Corazón. Reinaldo and Emilio visit Albino to make him an offer about the land.

The Sarmineto mansion is ambushed and a shooting of life and death begins. Eloisa goes to Nelly's salon to tell Corazón what has happened to Damián when Yomira and Abelardo show up with the same purpose. Evelia informs Padre Ignacio about the murder in the school.

Arcángel helps Yomira to sneak in and see Damián but Abraham busts them. Tinita delivers the bad news to Corazón about the family shack being burned down. Abelardo protests the governor's decision to arrest Numa Pompilio and Mauricio, and arranges a prison break.

Damián is moved to his family home. Corazón sells the jewels in order to raise the money to pay rent for the new house. Reinaldo and Emilio have lunch with Abraham to inform him his hacienda would be watched by the authorities. Aarón has an epiphany.

Corazón and Eloisa get drunk and Abraham orders the maid to put them to bed. Aarón feels awful after being rejected and on top of that his father wants money from him. Emilio declines María Angélica's request to help her get revenge on her two enemies.

Abraham tells Aarón about the note he intercepted in his daughter's room. Meanwhile Eloisa, clueless of that, meets with Abelardo. María Angélica makes a confession to Damián, who is shocked by her spite and hatred. Yomira is baffled by Manuel's proposal.

Abraham forbids Eloisa to leave her room and can't shake off the conclusion she's in love with a man from the Sarmiento family. Corazón is worried about her best friend and Nelly suggests to write her a note. Abelardo and Mauricio get into a physical fight.

Evelia tells Corazón what she overheard from the conversation between Aarón and Reinaldo. Agripina is caged like a beast. Marco falls into the hands of the Paredes. Abraham orders Anastacio to capture Mauricio. Damián is frightened for Eloisa and his father's attitude.

Abraham shows to Numa Pompilio he has the upper hand. He is also under a lot of criticism from his children because of caging Agripina like an animal.

After Corazón overhears part of Aarón's apologetic speech to María Angélica, concludes he's in love with that 'grand lady' after all and no one can't convince her otherwise. Eloisa agrees to marry Gustavo. Abelardo visits Corazón and begs her to help him with Eloisa.

Abraham puts his foot down regarding Eloisa's marriage despite all the protests of Aarón, Belinda and Agripina. Corazón believes in Abelardo's sincerity and true love for her best friend, and asks Eloisa not to rush into marrying Gustavo. Adela informs Yomira of Eloisa's upcoming marriage.

Abelardo infiltrates Eloisa's room during the night to make her swear she won't marry Gustavo and things become intense when Abraham starts banging on her door. Corazón argues with Damián about Aarón becoming Tinita's godfather. Gustavo is challenged to a duel.

The Sarmiento family is in distress when Abelardo is brought to the house half dead. Meanwhile Abraham and Eloisa are waiting for Gustavo at his place and some workers bring him with an injury. Corazón and Tinita won't listen, nor believe Aarón's reasons for having breakfast at the Guillén's.

Tinita receives a beautiful gift for her baptize to be. Agostini takes blood from Numa Pompilio and Mauricio to find the compatible donor for Abelardo. Corazón falls into Nelly's trap. Mercedes has chest pains. Abraham and Agripina discuss Eloisa's reaction after the news about Abelardo.

Corazón is ashamed and feels betrayed for falling into Nelly's trap and confides in Damián what happened. Numa learns that the only person in town with the compatible blood to Abelardos' is Abraham. Aarón is bursting with joy and embarks on a mission to convince Corazón in his feelings.

Corazón won't forgive Nelly but Aarón asks her to think it over. Yomira tells Damián who's the suitable blood donor for Abelardo. Eloisa ferrets around the house for a gun. Numa Pompilio sends Mauricio to Maracaibo to find a blood donor. Arcángel makes a prediction for Abraham.

Corazón confronts Abraham to beg him to give his blood to save Abelardo's life and when he grabs her by the arm, Aarón storms in. Numa Pompilio is baffled when Eloisa stands up in front of him and offers her blood to save Abelardo. Mauricio shoots Derián.

Eloisa returns home but Agripina busts her and demands to know where she was and what she has been doing. Corazón and Damián learn that one of the Paredes brothers was shot and they conclude it's Aarón, who went to the Sarmiento mansion to collect Eloisa.

Corazón and Damián look after Aarón, who gets drunk after covering for Eloisa and Abraham throwing him out of the hacienda and his heart. Numa Pompilio takes care of Mauricio's wound and tells him who gave blood for Abelardo. Yomira tells her brother about the meeting she had with Abraham.

Damián gives Aarón a roof over his head and convinces him to take over Francisco's project with the assistance of Corazón. Agripina blames Eloisa for what happened to Aarón and tells Abraham about his daughter's second suicide attempt. Mauricio can't accept Abelardo being saved by a Paredes.

The brothers Guillén discuss new measures against the war between the Paredes and the Sarmientos. Mauricio pays his debt to Eloisa for Abelardo's life. Corazón is destroyed after seeing María Angélica kissing Aarón but finds comfort and support from Evelia and Nelly.

Aarón shares with Eloisa everything about the scene at the church and his feelings for Corazón when Esther shows up and makes an conceivable request. Emilio and Reinaldo arrest Mauricio and make a stop at the Paredes hacienda to clarify the new rules of the village.

Eloisa and Belinda take it upon themselves to reconcile Aarón with Corazón. Abraham lectures Derián on the manner the Paredes should answer questions during a police inquiry. Mercedes faints. Gustavo confronts Eloisa about her probable feelings for Abelardo. Yomira pushes Damián too far.

Emilio promises to loan the money for Mercedes to Aarón only if he weds his niece. Eloisa is furious with Abraham's emotional blackmail of Corazón. Belinda discovers she's been robbed. Gustavo tells Agripina about having second thoughts about marrying Eloisa.

Aarón confides in Belinda the deal that Emilio has suggested to him. Eloisa is fed up with the unjust attitude of Abraham towards Aarón and puts an end to the feud. Numa Pompilio delivers the necessary medical equipment for Mercedes. María Angélica informs Corazón about her upcoming marriage.

Mercedes' diagnosis is an urgent by-pass. Corazón mistrust Aarón again after María Angélica's visit. Abraham squeezes the truth out of Agostini regarding the blood donor. Aarón asks Agripina to loan him money for Mercedes' operation and uses her biggest fear to convince her.

Abraham blackmails Agostini to lie to Corazón about the price of the by-pass. The school for poor children opens. Belinda disbelieves Agripina's explanations regarding the jewels. Aarón tells Felipe about the money that his father owes him. Yomira and Abelardo run into Eloisa at the church.

Corazón decides to wed Abraham. Aarón is pressed by Emilio to marry María Angélica in exchange for the loan for the operation. Yomira crosses the line. Agripina walks into a Paredes kissing a Sarmiento. Evelia goes to Numa Pompilio for help regarding Mercedes' operation.

Anastacio strongly objects to his father's sickening obsession to wed Corazón but the conversation changes when Abraham renews his order regarding Mauricio. Eloisa won't eat. Manuel challenges Damián to a duel. Evelia urges Corazón not to give in to Abraham's proposal.

The police tracks down Mauricio and his executioners. Yomira tempts Damián more than ever. Eloisa is very pale, without any appetite and faints into her best friends' arms. Aarón asks Corazón to forgive him for his jealous outburst in which he tore Abraham's present when María Angélica interferes.

A miracle happens when Abraham takes back his exiled children. In spite of that two weddings are happening at the same time in different parts of the village - the one of Corazón and the other of María Angélica. Meanwhile Numa Pompilio is drinking his coffee with a smile on his face.

Corazón sends the judges of the peace on their way. The Guillén family experiences a déjà vu. Anastacio and Eloisa put the mad Agripina to bed. Abraham gets more than one bad news that drives him to beat up his most faithful child. Aarón visualizes a new future.

Corazón is ambushed and beaten up but luckily the most unexpected person comes to her rescue. Abraham closes Nelly's parlor and requisitions all his donations to the church. Eloisa has another dizzy spell and the maid suggests what might be the reason. Derián punches Aarón.

Aarón is going insane with the thought of Corazón being pregnant and lashes out at Abraham, who is baffled by the news. Numa is under a lot of pressure when the archbishop starts an investigation based on Yomira's letter and on top of that has to explain to the authorities who busted Abraham out.

Damián unleashes his anger towards Abelardo, believing he's responsible for Eloisa's condition. Abraham discovers Yomira shot near the hacienda. Corazón makes a confession to Belinda when Aarón walks in with Lidia oh his hand. A family friend of the Paredes arrives - Alicia with her son.

Evelia and Nelly find Mercedes off her oxygen mask. Yomira needs a blood transfusion but finds the strength to fascinate Abraham again. Aarón is put on the spot and has to take his paternal responsibility. Eloisa is against Alicia's wish to marry her brother. Anastacio informs Damián about the accident.

At Corazón's house Abraham is held at gunpoint by Numa and Mauricio, who demand to know where is Yomira. Aarón discovers Corazón asleep in his father's back, looses it and tells Eloisa. Manuel is in peril when he sneaks in the Paredes hacienda to find Yomira. Alicia wants to conquer Aarón.

Derián overhears Eloisa confessing to Gustavo her pregnancy and rushes to find Abelardo. Corazón takes her revenge on María Angélica and her brats. Aarón legally recognizes his son and Abraham won't stop pushing him into marrying Alicia. Agostini fights to save Yomira's life.

Corazón won't tolerate María Angélica being the other teacher in the school for poor children despite Damián's pleas. Aarón walks in Derián questioning Eloisa about her pregnancy and the identity of the father. Yomira enlightens Damián on the way to end the family war.

The clash of the titans - Numa Pompilio enters the Paredes hacienda, alone and unarmed and demands from Abraham to tell him what has happened to Yomira. Abelardo wants an explanation from Eloisa about her pregnancy. Corazón won't accept the house that Mercedes is living in as a gift.

Eloisa tells Abelardo the half truth of the horror she experienced those months ago. To prevent a possible massacre, Corazón makes another stupid mistake by agreeing to marry Abraham. However Aarón objects immediately and proclaims his love. Mauricio won't go to Maracaibo.

Corazón stops Mauricio to commit a crime but the difficult part comes when she has to cool off Abraham and tell him why she accepted his marriage proposal. Eloisa and Aarón share their worries. Alicia packs her bags. Anastacio gives flowers to Yomira. Numa Pompilio updates Abelardo.

Corazón encounters her uncle, who has a lot to say about her father. Aarón has dinner with María Angélica, who puts drugs into his glass. Abraham takes his revenge on Corazón and her family after observing her in the hotel and concluding she had a rendezvous with his son.

Corazón and her family reside in the Paredes hacienda and Abraham acts like a hero, who rescued them from the fire. Aarón wakes up in bed with the wrong woman. Numa Pompilio finds Mauricio up a tree in the middle of the night and this change in his son concerns him greatly.

Corazón is heartbroken but keeps it together until Narciso reunites with Mercedes. Aarón confides in Eloisa what happened with María Angélica. Abraham blackmails Nelly, as well as Padre Ignacio in order to make Corazón completely helpless and dependable. Reinaldo audits the Turk.

Mauricio builds a cross and crucifies himself. Corazón and the Turk depart for Maracaibo to fulfill Alicia's request. Miguel Felipe tries to force Aarón to sign some papers. Yomira hits rock bottom. Damián confronts María Angélica about the dirty photos and her obsession with Aarón.

Corazón is upset after learning about Alicia's illness from her doctor. Abraham receives a note from Numa Pompilio that drives him to come up with a plan together with his sons against the Sarmiento family. Trino finds Mauricio in the wilderness.

Corazón and Aarón return with Alicia, who has to prepare to get married. Abraham feels better and won't take the medicine despite the nurse's pleas. Reinaldo tells Emilio about María Angélica being pregnant and on top of it all the Guillén maid dies suddenly and mysteriously.

Numa Pompilio ferrets into Agostini's records and finds one of them extremely interesting. Reinaldo gets the autopsy report of the maid. Abraham pushes very hard for the marriage of Aarón and Alicia while Corazón tries to keep up appearances.

The archbishop listens to Yomira's plan but even her most noble intentions doesn't change his mind. Agripina attacks Alicia with a knife. Abraham drags around Corazón to witness as he gives a check to Narciso, shouts at Nelly and sets the Turk straight. Mauricio buys baby clothes.

Eloisa becomes frantic when Agostini tells her who stole her medical record. Aarón buys a bike for his son to dispel his doubts and sadness. The archbishop advises Damián not to go through with Yomira's plan. Narciso and Corazón start putting order in the new house. Numa needs a bank loan.

María Angélica gives Agripina some pills to drug Abraham, the same way she drugged Aarón. Abraham faces the doctor, who provided the poison that killed the maid. Aarón drowns his troubles in booze at Estacia's bar. Anastacio meets with Mauricio to ask about the father of Evelia's child.

Aarón strongly protests that María Angélica is pregnant and she stoops very low in order to avoid Agostini's examination. Corazón brings Alicia to the church and she gets awful pains during the prayer. Evelia's child is burning up with fever. Eloisa receives a present.

Corazón and Yomira bring Damián to the hideout but are followed by Abraham and his henchmen. Evelia and Anastacio go to the church for confession. Belinda visits Esther and accuses María Angélica for the bombs and in the process recognizes one of her stolen bracelets. Aarón meets with Ivan.

Yomira tells Numa Pompilio the reason for Mauricio's changed behavior. Evelia finds Anastacio's mother. Abraham bumps into the justice of the peace on their way to the Turk's house. María Angélica accuses Corazón of jewel theft in front of the authorities and Belinda.
