Nik and Richard take a rotten old Austin Mini and strip it down to a bare shell then take an angle grinder and cut out the rotten parts of the body. It's only then that the customised rebuilding process starts.

In the 2nd episode of Project Binky, the team start to get down to the nitty gritty of the build. Stripping out the front bulkhead, make all new suspension mounting points and drink a lot of tea.

In episode 14 of Project Binky, the Bad Obsessions Motorsport team crack on with producing appropriate wheel arches, not helped by a incorrectly produced part.

In episode 15 of Project Binky, Nik and Richard install brake and fuel lines ensuring sufficient clearance from the tail shaft and protection from the rigours of road use.

In Episode 16 of Project Binky, the team wrestle with the power steering, make a minor adjustment to the flip front mechanism and plan how to get some Heating/Air conditioning into the car.

In episode 18 of Project Binky, a new improved modern wiper system is manufactured and installed, including its associated electrical system.

In episode 20 of Project Binky, they continue working on the Mini's electrical system and solve the ancillary drive conundrum. It's all systems go in the continuing effort to build one of the world's fastest Mini's.

In Episode 21 the BOM team adjust the steering wheel, relocated the gear stick and fabricate a bespoke Centre Console to cover the ugly bits of wiring, which also has the added benefit of providing a smoother alignment for the gear leavers.
