Addison disagrees with Naomi on the designer baby methods she did for Molly and Eric Madison in order to save their 7 year old son. But when 6-month pregnant Molly decides to bring on her labor as her son's condition deteriorates it is up to Addison to save the baby and reluctantly donate the core blood to the baby's brother. Meanwhile, Cooper and Charlotte continue their behind closed doors affair and it causes him to abandon his usual annual holiday with Violet. Elsewhere, Pete asks Addison out just as Kevin comes back on the scene, Dell quits and Naomi tells ...

Patients include a 17 year old teenager who wants to die against his selfish father's wishes and a couple whose genetic secret reveals itself to Addison and Naomi. Pete does his share to generate business for the Practice and Violet wonders why her friendship with Cooper is falling apart.

Charlotte ups the ante for Addison in her job offer by dangling surgeries in front of her, while patients at the practice include a cross-dressing fireman, an infant with an abnormally large head and a woman with insomnia as a result of her son's tendency towards violence. Everyone finds out about Dell's new job.

Sam and Naomi come up with a counter-proposal when the rest of the Practice forces them to kiss and make up. Cooper finds the need to vocalize his feelings when it comes to Charlotte, but his patient doesn't want to listen to a word he has to say about her potentially autistic son when she realizes that Cooper has advertised himself on an adult dating site. Addison tries to come up with her own counter-proposal when her policeman boyfriend invites her for a getaway weekend.

Addison opposes a plan put into action by the rest of the staff before she joined the Practice, while Violet is asked to put her license in jeopardy by one of her best friends, who happens to be running for office.

Addison treats two pregnant women who share the same husband.

Addison's brother pays a visit, but it's everyone else who pays the price at the Practice. Charlotte continues to use favors in the bedroom as pass overs for her personal shortcomings with Cooper, who's still in the dark regarding her new business venture, while Violet is put in a position to treat a mentally disturbed patient who seems capable of being a sexual predator.

Violet and Sam try to find some common ground when a man she's treating kills his wife, who's being treated by Sam for an incurable kidney disease. When Meg gets a job at Oceanside, she gets off on the wrong foot by offering services not supported by the partners. Addison is caught in the middle of a tug-of-war in which a woman in a coma goes into labor and the father won't permit a C-section in order to save the baby in hopes that labor will bring the mother out of the coma.

As Charlotte opens her new practice, the competition ensues, including the frowned-upon practice of stealing patients. Kevin begins to get restless as Addison has a hard time defining the line between doctor and significant other. Dell tries to match people who would like to adopt with a young college student who realizes that there's more of a chance for her unborn child if she gives her up.

When Meg returns, Pete can't help but struggle when it comes to his relationship with her, which is changing, except no one knows that it's his intimacies with Violet that's affecting him. Cooper struggles with a decision to do what's right when it comes to the care of a young patient. Naomi struggles over consulting with Charlotte's practice involving a patient in remission and wishes to become pregnant. Addison struggles with a prospective med student when she doesn't agree with the way her school is being paid for, while Kevin treats her like she's flaunting her ...

Oceanside Wellness is put under quarantine when one of Cooper's patients contracts the measles. Naomi pressures Addison into working with her rival, Wyatt, on a fertility case; meanwhile, Dell fights for sole custody of his daughter, and Violet and Pete consider taking their friends-with-benefits relationship to the next level.

Addison is attracted to Wyatt, the rival practice's brash doctor, while Violet secretly dates Pete and Sheldon at the same time, and Cooper gets closer to Charlotte in a family emergency.

Kevin keeps pressure on Addison, who can't account for one night, while she was kissing the doctor from the fourth floor. Violet discovers she's pregnant, but the real complication lies in the identity of the father. Cooper is all for Charlotte's proposal, but they don't exactly see eye to eye on the method of carrying it out. Pete and Sam don't see eye to eye, either, over a doctor with cancer and wants them to help him die. Addison has to step in when complications from birth arise concerning a baby who's about to be adopted.

Sam and Naomi realize they can be friends, while Cooper encourages Violet to talk to Pete and Sheldon about her pregnancy. Addison's brother moves to LA and begins working up on the fourth floor for Charlotte, who continues to rebuff Cooper's advances towards mending their relationship. A patient for Addison is experiencing some stroke-like symptoms, while pregnant.

When Archer suffers a seizure, Addison and Naomi, search for a cause and a cure. In their quest they call Derek Shepherd for help. Meanwhile, Violet tells about the pregnancy to Sheldon and Pete, while Cooper is left to take care of a seven year-old abandoned patient.

After suffering a severe asthma attack at Seattle Grace, Sam is treated by Naomi and Bailey who try to determine the cause. Meanwhile Addison assists Derek in a case involving a pregnant woman.

Addison's caught up in the relationship between her brother and her best friend, as well as a couple who's baby is born with both male and female organs. Violet gets caught up in helping with a couples therapy group, which does not help her own situation.

After the rest of the doctors put a woman who was brutally attacked back together, physically, Violet gets to try to put her back together emotionally, while trying, herself to dance around the hassles of identifying her baby's father. After Sam calls his new girlfriend by his ex-wife's name, Naomi takes it upon herself to get them back together. Addison's flirtations in the scrub room with another doctor proceed until he finds out who she is.

Dell's ex wants to pack up his daughter and move her to Missouri. Naomi wants Sam to fix her up with one of his basketball buddies. Violet wants her patient to realize her fetus is not alive. Addison wants her patient to choose another doctor...another one her patient's husband is not fawning over.

Even though they refuse to do anything about it, the sexual tension still exists between Addison and Noah. A mother of one of Cooper's patients wishes for her daughter to be put on birth control pills, even though the child is only twelve. Dell's personal life begins to affect his work, while Violet feels pangs of jealousy when Pete begins to pay attention to a single mother.

Noah and Addison are forced to partner up on a case involving a pregnant woman with a terminal heart condition. Pete's new love interest has a hard time dealing with the situation between Pete and Violet. Everyone at the practice puts their own license at risk by not notifying the authorities when they discover a teacher is having an affair with one of her high school students.

Addison faces her feelings for Noah as Morgan goes into labor.
