We meet Emily, an unsuccessful stand-up comedienne, who starts her own business as a children's birthday party entertainer. She needs to find a partner and meets some crazy contenders for the job...

Emily and Katrina get their first party job, but realize they have yet to come up with a business name. They are also in need of a Hello, Kitty costume (which they don't have). We also meet Emily's lovable loser brother, Josh.

Katrina and Emily meet Emily's evil old boss Marta and decide to steal her "Hello Kitty" costume for their first party.

Josh gets the girls a party job, but the audience is a little more adult than they expect. Josh and Katrina's mutual attraction for each other also drunkenly materializes by the day's end, much to Emily's distress.

Emily expresses her distress over Josh and Katrina's affections by incorporating it into her stand-up routine. Steve, the head of the comedy club, gives her some useless critique. Emily also receives a visit from a not-so-super-hero past job applicant.

To help her cope with her night terrors, Emily keeps Steve around her apartment to make pancakes at the ready. Katrina calls to reconcile, but Emily refuses to talk. Meanwhile, things stay heated between Josh and Katrina.

Emily decides to take action and confront Katrina on her relationship with Josh. Katrina and Emily have a heart to heart about love, happiness, and politics. Emily concedes that Katrina and Josh should be allowed to date. Steve makes pancakes for all.

Emily and Katrina get a ransom note from Marta: she's kidnapped Josh. The girls suit up in their princess outfits and leave for Marta's house to confront her. When they arrive, they find Josh and a team of rival princesses.

Marta reveals her devious plot to have Emily and Katrina arrested: she plans to tell the police that the Hello Kitty costume they stole was lined with $100 bills. She has the footage of them running away from her home, saved on a hamburger-shaped USB drive. Katrina nabs the drive and a fight breaks out. It's Princess vs. Princess warfare. In the end, it's Josh who saves the day...
