Investigating bizarre murders in which the victims' eyes are ceremoniously gouged out, the Legacy members note the similarity to murders committed five years earlier by Raymond Corvus, currently on Death Row at San Quentin. They further discover that all the victims were in some way involved in Corvus' trial.

Following Jennifer Hollybrook's funeral, her fiancé, Jeffery Sandor, tells Alex he'd like to help with the investigation. After she leaves, Sandor approaches Father Norman, the priest who gave Corvus his Last Rites. When Sandor defends Corvus' actions, the priest becomes scared and runs off.

Derek and Kristin head to a small town to investigate several mysterious deaths by strangulation. They learn that in 1954, Mary Dunworth was lynched by unknown persons who pulled her from her jail cell as she awaited trial for allegedly setting fire to the home of Robert Clay, the fiancé who reportedly jilted her, and members of his family.

A painting has the power to draw people's souls into it.

Nick gets possessed by a demon and hallucinates down memory lane.

Derek is accused of killing an innocent man when a murder case is opened after 20 years.

Franklin Cross begins his takeover of the Legacy House. The team are not sure what is going on, where Derek is or whether or not to trust Cross. The investigations into Reed Horton continue while the team try to find out what has happened to Derek themselves.

Nick's deceased brother, Jimmy, suddenly appears claiming that he is being pursued by a Soul Chaser...who then targets the Legacy house.

Miranda uses the appeal of magic to lure Kat into unintentionally targeting Rachel, Nick and Alex. Can they find out what Miranda is up to before it is to late to save Kat?

A Ginelle, a female genie, is released from her bottle only to seeks revenge against her former 'owners' leading Milos to call on his old college roommate -- Derek Rayne -- for help.

Alex receives a request from her dead grandmother: Help the owners of a house that is being haunted by the spirit of a boy who drowned years before.

Excavations in Boston unintentionally releases Dr. Mordecai Church from his long imprisonment. Intent upon starting his own 'religion,' Church recruits runaways as his congregation and soon joins forces with Reed Horton.

With Mordecai Church as his ally, Horton has split The Legacy apart and plans to finish of the rest of the team. It is left to Derek and Nick to persuade Father Callaghan to rejoin their fight and save The Legacy from destruction.

To keep herself alive, a succubus who is in love with Nick, is stalking men on the streets of San Francisco and sucking the life from them.

Derek's lover is murdered so he and Alex pursue the killer, only to be drawn into a horrifying web of Horton's making that pits Derek and Alex against each other.

Kat has a new friend in school who turns out to be the ghost of her older half sister.

With the death of a young monk, Rachel and Alex are thrown into a struggle to prevent a phony priest from unsealing a portal to hell.

A girl appears to be visited by her dead sister's ghost, but it is really her cousin trying to drive her crazy.

Rachel catches Kat casting a "fun" spell and reprimands her, but Kat's continuing witchcraft practice and friendship with Miranda turns into serious trouble.

Alex struggles to cure Nick, and to keep him alive, after he is infected by a demonic parasite that makes him see imaginary evils all around him.

An ancient deck of tarot cards enlivens a tedious evening for Derek, Nick and Alex. However, each card underscores the high personal cost of their allegiance to the Legacy.

Plagued by nightmares and visitations from his father's evil spirit, Derek fears that the portal to hell has been breached.
