The Larsson family whit it's 6 children lives in poor conditions in Stockholm in 1949. The apartment is cramped, the neighbors complain and they have no money for a bigger apartment. Unless father Patrik manages to sell his new pan patent.

The Larsson family is about to get even bigger. The seventh child is on the way, while the deputy host, with Mrs. Palm in tow, threatens eviction if three children do not move away.

The Pip-Larsson family should be together. But Mirre and Lasse are locked up in a prison camp for children, and with Rosalinda housed with Miss Eternal, it doesn't feel good.

Uncle Enok is dead and Miss Eternal has forged his will. And she has confiscated both the apartment and the money, while the family, to their great surprise, has to feed a couple of old brewer's horses.

Things are starting to brighten for the Larsson family. The first pot has been sold and it has been decided to go to Aunt Bella. You can sell the pans on the road.

The Pip-Larsson family are on their way with horses and carriages to Aunt Bella. Pot sales are not going any further, and it can be difficult to keep up under these tight conditions. But at some point it has to turn around.

It's pouring rain and the Pip-Larsson family has a problem with one of the carts. And the mother gets tired and wants to cancel the trip and take the train instead. But father and the children absolutely want to continue as planned.

The Larsson family comes to Sjöängens Festplats where you can do lots of fun activities. Mom is wooed by a man who buys a Pip pan. Mirre and Lasse discover that the owners of the shooting range are doing shady business.

Dessis boyfriend (Ove), shows up on a motorcycle and the family is also visited by a curious journalist. Who writes an article about the unusual Pip-Larsson family and suddenly the sale of the Pip pan goes like a dance.

Dessi has run away with Ove because dad accuses him of stealing the money from the cigar box. Rosalinda decides to look for them on her own and things go really bad.

The family has arrived at Aunt Bella's farm and there they are well taken care of. Soon it will be time for the baby in the mother's womb to be born, and therefore there is a rush to get a proper home. It seems that a solution is in sight.

What will happen to the stolen stamp album? And what will happen to dad's patent? And 2hen will the baby arrive and what will it be called? Yes, we will get answers to this and more before we say goodbye to the Pip-Larssons family.
