Lisa can't seem to catch a break. Not only is there a raging pandemic that has kept her mostly quarantined at home, her lecherous neighbor Doug is constantly hitting on her and her nosy landlord Susan is chasing after her to remember to pay the rent - again. Through a case of mistaken identity, a nerdy, shy, and socially awkward pizza delivery guy, James, shows up at Lisa's door, and it's love at first sight, at least for him it is.

After James's doomed encounter with Lisa, he is now head over heels in love with her, and determined to correct his mistake - no matter what. And so begins a dangerous obsession. Jimmy, a ladies man who works for a delivery service, attempts to pick up where his nerdy friend left off as far as seducing Lisa. Unbeknownst to her, Jimmy already knows who she is due to his Peeping Tom MO that he uses to pick up women at apartment complexes on the job. Is it just for fun, or something more sinister? A surprise is left at Lisa's door letting her know she's being watched. ...

After a disturbing incident at Lisa's home, she goes to Pizza Me to complain about Jimmy's inappropriate behavior. When Avery, James's manager, finds out about the mix up at Lisa's apartment, it's the perfect opportunity for her to get rid of him. She is, however, secretly dating Jimmy, although she doesn't quite know where she stands with him. Meanwhile, a chance encounter Lisa has with Jimmy breaks the ice. When Lisa returns home and goes to bed for the night, disturbing visions disrupt her peace, and not just in her dreams either.

Jimmy gets his chance to be alone with Lisa on a socially distanced date at her apartment, thinking he will finally make his move. However, the tables are turned on him and the secret he has been hiding for so long is exposed.

As more people in Lisa's neighborhood either disappear or turn up dead, she is questioned by Det. Sam Phillips, the lead investigator working the case. Susan becomes increasingly more paranoid and solicitous, especially when it comes to Lisa and Doug. Meanwhile, Avery discovers the shocking truth about Jimmy.

James forces Lisa to talk to him alone, which leads to a dangerous conclusion. The link to the killer is found by accident and is finally revealed in the most unexpected way.
