Pilot episode. Young Bhodi Li is the world champion Photon player. The Guardians of The Light, an intergalactic force of peacekeeping all-stars recruits him to travel the universe and fight evil forces for Photon crystals.

Bhodi is set up with a "dog" for prom. The volcanic planet of Barberoy needs to be protected from the The Darkness and the Warlord of Arr and their evil purposes. Bhodi makes rash decisions based on appearances. Lessons are learned.

Tomb is the planet of fallen Photon Warriors for the Light but has a failing Photon crystal. Bhodi, Tivia, and Uncle Pike are dispatched to investigate. Warlord Arr dispatches his own force to claim it. Fighting ensues, conclusions are had.

Parcival disappears while visiting Princess Ar-Rhia on magma moon XMag 93. Bhodi, Lord Baethan and Tivia are dispatched to rescue him from the spoiled child-genius princess. The Darkness tries to capture the Photon crystal and the princess.

The gang is sent to planet Guf-Fah to help King Lucos who is despondent and has unknowingly named Mandarr as his heir. They must attend the Festival of Laffin to recharge the Photon crystal and save Guf-Fah.

Bhodi is sent to rescue Queen Sanna from Mommery who has fled the destruction of her planet to Gobidae. Tivia is jealous of Bhodi's attraction to the Queen.

Tivia, Parcival, and Bhodi are sent to Zakku to recharge the Photon crystal. The Caretaker of Zakku captures Parcival and Tivia with his carnivorous plants and wants to kill all non-plant life.

Lord Baethan's home planet of MX8 is threatened by the Arr-ians. The Guardians arrive to help him to find out that MX8 is also the computer that created Lord Baethan and has returned to the control of The Darkness.

Bhodi is hassled by bullies on Earth. Warlord Arr has his sights set on Operr with his new secret anti-Light weapon, the Gannarr. The Guardians move to stop them.

Tivia is called back to Nivia to face a challenge to her Princessness by once-friend Duria, who is now working for The Darkness. The Guardians step in to stop The Darkness from fixing the match and uncover the truth.

Bhodi's sister is tapped for his Earth league team. Bhodi travels back to the station so he can participate in Halcyon's liberation from Warlord Arr during a rare meteor pass.

Bhodi is late...again. There is a chance to convert Mandarr back to the Light on an unstable planet that will block communications while there. The planet is made of Sunrock, which can turn living beings to stone.

The Guardians determine that Bhodi should learn a lesson and gain some humility. Lessons are learned.

The Guardians and The Darkness struggle to claim the planet Phylos, which is finally able to be approached long after the Great War. On Earth, Chris is jealous of a new guy talking to Denise.

The Guardians are observing doomed planet Zoeld. It is going to be destroyed from a black hole produced by the collision of two dark crystals. The black hole is also on a path to destroy Earth as well.

The team joins in an exhibition Photon match but is everything as it seems?

Chris gets detention for leaving school to help The Guardians. The planet Barryn is finally available for conversion to the Light.

The Guardians decide to go to planet Pellegro to attack a Soldarr creation factory and mine. They are waylaid by a mysterious character.

Chris' cat eats $25 of fish but is only worth $5. The Guardians are dispatched to a planet of prehistoric life to claim a crystal.

Chris' girlfriend breaks up with him. Parcival falls victim to Photonium poisoning. Bhodi tries to save Parcival.

Chris is offered drugs at school. The Guardians investigate a Photon crystal that is for sale. Bhodi Li gets slaked by Mandarr. Not a euphemism.

Chris tries to ask a girl out then quarrels with Tivia. The barren planet Zyte has a neutral crystal to claim.

Chris doesn't go to a movie with his parents. Leon rushes to planet Marias to look for a crashed spaceship. The Guardians catch up and try to save him from the Arr-ians.

Chris loses at chess a lot to Kathy and considers Parcheesi. The Guardians have crashed on the planet Booway while trying to retrieve a crystal and only Bhodi can save them.

Chris' mom is given a major role in a play. The Guardians travel to planet Zed to claim a neutral crystal before the Arr-ians. Losing it could put the very fate of the Intellistar at risk.

Bhodi Li is sent to rescue the other Guardians who are on planet Tuton, which is the exact center of the universe. MOM informs Bhodi that if the Arr-ians claim the crystal, the universe will be destroyed.
