When a lonely young man cooks fresh fish in his apartment, he finds a beautiful mysterious visitor inside his house. Realizing she is a "petnee," he must cook the fish for her before she decides its him she wants for dinner.

Mahmud is a sweet-shop salesman and a hopeless family man. He's also a person who has been ridiculed throughout his life for his weak memory and so many things. He meets a loyal late-night customer who claims to grant a wish in exchange for some delicious sweets. The salesman is surprised to see his wish come true, but this sweet surprise becomes bitter as he learns to be careful what to wish for.

In the middle of their travels, an adventurous couple discovers a village where every Bangla superstition has a disturbing origin. One particular tale, the story of why one shouldn't go out with long hair past sunset...may come to life and haunt them.

A young NGO worker living in Cox's Bazaar hears stories about a voice that calls young children into the water, to their death. Should he continue his job as a change maker, or confront the supernatural to create real change?
