Jae Hee is a housewife who has devoted her life to her family but had a miserable life to keep it up. One day, she can longer take it and decides to kill her cheating husband and herself. Although she tried to hang herself, she fails as she is too heavy. While trying to use a different method to kill herself, Jae Hee gets a mysterious perfume that can change her life around.

With the magical perfume, Jae Hee turns back into her younger self. She is now so beautiful and slender that anyone can mistake her for a model. Due to unfortunate circumstances, Yi Do, a genius but crazy fashion designer, needs a replacement model. Coincidentally, Jae Hee is around and fits in all the clothes Yi Do had prepared for the show. Although Yi Do does not like Jae Hee for personal reasons, he hires her for the day.

Jae Hee threatens and coerces Yi Do and gets a job as his housekeeper. With many years under her belt as a housewife, Jae Hee is exceptional at cleaning and cooking. As Jae Hee is given a second chance to realize her dreams, she tries her best to become a model once again.

Min Suk, a famous idol, gets voted to be Yi Do's new muse. Despite Min Suk's popularity and fame, Yi Do refuses to work with him. The two have some history together, but they don't get along at all. Meanwhile, Jae Hee enters an audition to become a new model for Ji Na's agency.

2019 E-stream New Model Casting Call has begun. Among the very talented aspiring models, Ye Rin and Jin Kyung are doing their best to be selected by the judges. Meanwhile, Joon Yong gets a copy of Jae Hee's high school yearbook and can't believe what Jae Hee used to look like.

Ye Rin fails the audition because of E Do's harsh grading on her. As she is about to leave, she gets an offer from Min Suk's agency, MS Entertainment, to become an idol. She, however, turns the offer down and asks E Do for another chance.

Joon Yong sees Jae Hee carrying E Do and tries to call the police. To stop more people from finding out, Jae Hee tells Joon Yong the truth and shows how she transforms. At first, he tells Joon Yong to leave the house. But as she begs, he gives her some time and promises to keep quiet.

Thanks to E Do's help, Ye Rin makes great costumes for herself and Jin Kyung. With the costumes, Jin Kyung places first and Ye Rin in second in the next part of the audition. The next part of the audition is to go on a workshop, but E Do can't help himself come along for some reason.

Ye Rin falls off a cliff while trying to pick up the perfume she lost during the mountain climbing session. Luckily, E Do finds her in time and brings her to the hospital. Due to a miraculous event, Ye Rin is barely hurt, but she can't do housework for E Do.

As E Do takes care of Ye Rin due to her injuries, Ye Rin can't stop herself from having feeling towards E Do. E Do, too, starts to find Ye Rin's annoying personality cute and starts to open up to her more and more. Meanwhile, Ji Na is head over heels for E Do and starts to feel jealous.

To save Min Suk's career from getting ruined, his agency hands out fake information about Min Suk dating Ye Rin. Thankfully, Ye Rin agrees to help Min Suk out and signs the contract to become Min Suk's fake girlfriend. As he learns of this, E Do gets extremely jealous and gets to lash out at Ye Rin.

At first, many people despised Ye Rin for dating Min Suk. Min Suk's fans ridicule and criticize her, but some are cheering her on and wishes their love prevails. As Min Suk spends more and more time with Ye Rin to put up a show for the public, he starts to develop feelings toward Ye Rin.

Min Suk confesses he wants to be more and wants Ye Rin to be his real girlfriend. Ye Rin, however, feels uncomfortable and does not reciprocate his love back. As Min Suk shows more and more affection toward Ye Rin, E Do gets even more jealous about their relationship. Meanwhile, World Fashion Week is in four months, and E-stream is holding a competition to choose which models get the honor of participating in it.

As she isn't the best model in the agency, Ye Rin fails to get any designers to pick her as their model. If she can't get any designers to choose her, she won't be able to participate in the World Fashion Week. Seeing her struggle, E Do decides to give her advice and an ultimatum.

After Ye Rin's last audition, she confronts Tae Joon as Jae Hee and lashes out at him. Before things get out of hand, she runs away and meets up with Jin Kyung for dinner. Jin Kyung, during dinner, apologizes to her mom for what she's done to Jae Hee. Meanwhile, E Do that he's been waiting for all this time.

Mi Yoo publishes the video of Ye Rin coming out of E Do's hotel room back in E-stream workshop. As soon as the media hears about it, they start asking questions about their relationship. The media asks Min Suk what he thinks about the situation as he is her boyfriend in the public's eye. To stop this from getting out of hand, E Do decides to hold a press conference.

Although he had a script to follow, E Do expresses his love toward Ye Rin in front of journalists. With this announcement, E Do visits Ye Rin and checks their affections toward each other. E Do, however, asks Ye Rin to wait for him as his confession during the press conference was rather crude and unorganized.

The love triangle between E Do, Ye Rin, and Min Suk is gaining even more attention. To save E Do and Min Suk's reputations, Ye Rin tells the media that she had played them both. After finding out about E Do's tragic childhood, Ye Rin decides to leave E Do as she realizes she isn't fit to be E Do's woman.

Infuriated by E Do's press conference, Min Suk moves into E Do's house to win Ye Rin's heart for good. As expected, the two do not get along, and Ye Rin wants to do something so the two brothers can reconcile and move on. That, however, seems difficult when both are competing with each other for the same woman.

Through the camping trip, Ye Rin learns about why the two brothers drifted apart. As the fragile being he is, E Do suffers from his allergy due to sleeping outside. Seeing this, Ye Rin decides to cure him of his illnesses. Meanwhile, Tae Joo lures Jae Hee into talking to him by mentioning divorce.

Tae Joo wishes to hire Ye Rin as the model for Susung's new phone, Femme Fatale S. Knowing Tae Joo's true nature, E Do is against the idea of Ye Rin working with Tae Joo. Ji Na dissuades him saying this is Ye Rin's chance to change the bad image she has. Hesitantly, E Do allows Ye Rin to work on the advertisement.

The launch of Femme Fatale S is a huge success, and the public starts to admire Ye Rin. While Ye Rin is busy, Tae Joo goes through Ye Rin's bag and steals her perfume. As the perfume's effect runs out, Ye Rin has no choice but to attend the Susung's banquet as Jae Hee. At the banquet, E Do recognizes his first love entering the banquet with Tae Joo.

Ye Rin has kept her secret away from E Do and Min Suk, but recently, both E Do and Min Suk start to think Ye Rin may be the same person as Jae Hee. Min Suk is torn by the fact that Ye Rin maybe someone else. E Do, on the other hand, still longs for his first love, Jae Hee, despite how much she has changed over the years.

Although E Do is determined to love his one and only, Jae Hee, he realizes he can't stop himself from loving Ye Rin. Meanwhile, Ye Rin finally realizes that she is E Do's first love after going through her stuff. Troubled by being E Do's first love and the thought of him finding out, Ye Rin decides to meet up with him as Jae Hee.

E Do gets dumped by Jae Hee and feels devastated. However, E Do finds out about Tae Joon's embezzlement and wrongdoings and hands the proof over to Jae Hee so that she can use it to get a divorce with Tae Joon. And E Do tells Tae Joon not to come near Ye Rin again. Meanwhile, Ji Na wants to find out who has dumped E Do.

While consoling E Do from his rejection, Ye Rin offers him to pretend to be Jae Hee. Although he is against the idea at first, he accepts her idea. Together, they check off things on E Do's bucket list and live the moments E Do wanted have with Jae Hee. Meanwhile, Tae Joon threatens to expose her identity if she doesn't move back in with him.

Mi Yoo's ex-boyfriend comes to the photoshoot set and tries to terrorize Mi Yoo with hydrochloric acid. Ye Rin witnesses that Mi Yoo is in danger and helps her. Meanwhile, Jin Kyung starts to think that Tae Joon stalks Ye Rin. She unlocks Tae Joon's phone and checks text messages between Tae Joon and Ye Rin.

E Do proposes that he and Ye Rin stay together, but Ye Rin turns him down. E Do decides to let Ye Rin leave. And Ye Rin focuses on preparing for Fashion Week. However, Tae Joon suddenly appears and hits Ye Rin, and that makes her fall unconscious. Jin Kyung witnesses Tae Joon taking Ye Rin somewhere in his car and calls E Do in order to ask for help.

After regaining her consciousness, Jae Hee runs away from E Do. Although E Do is disappointed and angry by the fact that Jae Hee has been lying to him all this time, he still misses Jae Hee. Meanwhile, Soo Yun plans to upload the video of Ye Rin's body change online. Will Jae Hee be able to come back as Ye Rin on the runway?

E Do finds out how the perfume works and that Jae Hee may die soon. He decides to create an identical perfume and starts to look into the ingredients and what method is used to make the perfume. Soon he realizes that he was the one who got the perfume made 20 years ago. Meanwhile, police officers come to Tae Joon's house to arrest him.

Ye Rin wakes up, and she and E Do share their memories of 20 years ago. World Fashion Week is held as planned. Before the show begins, Tae Joon sneaks in the backstage and breaks the perfume bottle in front of Ye Rin. However, he soon gets arrested by the police. And Jin Kyung and Ye Rin finally walk on the runway.

After the fashion show, E Do waits for Ye Rin on the runway with a ring, but she never shows up. E Do soon realizes that she has disappeared. One year later, E Do still works hard, pretending he is all right. However, on his birthday, a letter is delivered to him. The letter was sent from Ye Rin one year ago.
