It is Christmas eve but Bastian has not bought a Christmas tree yet. Furthermore he has to prepare a Christmas gala with Anke Engelke and he soon gets in trouble trying to do everything at the last second.

Anne's parents get married again. They could not live without each other. Bastian and Anne have cancelled their wedding. Although Anne does not admit it in front of Bastian, she seems to be somewhat disappointed about it.

With the help of his niece Kim, Bastian installs Surveillance Cameras and a whole home automation system in his flat to control everything with his smartphone.

Because Svenja wants to get pregnant she hires a Voodoo-Priestess to search the house and garden for water veins. Bastian, of course, interferes with her plan and gets into a quarrel with Svenja, who then puts a curse on him.

After appearing on a tax evader DVD, Bastians friend Hugo is in serious trouble. If he gets caught, he has to go to jail for several years. To avoid that he pretends committing suicide and escapes to Israel with the help of Bastian.

Bastian loses his driver's license and has to go to driving school again. There he meets Guido Cantz and is 100% sure that he is part of Guido's prank show and makes fun of the actual serious situation.

Bastian pretends being sick to avoid his appearance on the Germany TV Awards, where he has to present the show with Anke Engelke in silly Standup comedy outfits.

Bastian wants to perform Standup Comedy from now on. Unfortunately the young audience is not entertained by his topics; old TV shows and their dubbers.

A drunk 1. FC Köln Fan slaps Bastian in the Face. The slap was so strong that Bastian passes out for a moment but Anne saves the situation and puts the offender to rout.

Sat.1 has offered Michael Kessler a great deal for a new TV show "Kessler, the show". In the show, Bastian shall act as his best friend. Since Bastian does not like the idea, he forges an evil plan.
