That's not a hangover Rachel is feeling, it's the aftermath of her battle with Benton Alridge, now known as the Bookworm. What happens when a member of the city's criminal underground wants to tap Benton's experimental technology for use in her schemes? And how will it affect Rachel going forth?

When Greg's plan to use his new invention to get in the good graces of his lady love fails, he resorts to violence to prove his love.

Rachel tries to get to the bottom of a fellow student's recent violent rampage.

When her sister returns home on the trail of a cat burglar, Rachel decides that Party Girl is going to lend a hand, putting her in Benton's crosshairs once again.

Rachel clashes with a vigilante from nearby Angel City and gets in another hairy situation.

Friendships rise and fall.

Rachel has to contend with a pair of sociopathic sisters as one of her secrets gets out.

Rachel's pleas with Riley to keep training her fall on deaf ears as a student from his past returns and brings trouble with him.
