Family psychologist Sergey Vasnetsov is in trouble. His wife left him with their five daughters--and his mother-in-law. Eldest daughter Masha is a breezy fashionista, second daughter Darya is a goth, third daughter Evgeniya is an athlete, fourth daughter Galina is an A student, and youngest daughter Polina, nicknamed "Pugovka," is the cute little baby. All are very noisy; none of them know how to cook or clean. On top of that, lately Vasnetsov has no luck with clients.

Sergey Vasnetsov got his first and only customer. It's Oksana Fedotova who is unhappy wife of Rublyovka's oligarch. Meanwhile, the daughters try to cook and clean the apartment by themselves for the first time.

Sergey learns that Masha is dating two guys at the same time and it's shocking him. And Galina Sergeevna is joining a new grade where Dasha is studying.

Vasnetsov doesn't like that his daughters can't find a common language with each other, and he decides to spend a session of psychotherapy with them. And then there are problems with his mother-in-law: Grandma refuses to look after Pugovka when he at work.

Learning that Dasha likes to go to goth parties with her friends Pauk (Spider) and Cherep (Skull), Vasnetsov tries to understand her passion and as a result almost fails the psychotherapy session with Oksana. Meanwhile, Masha and Zhenya are changing roles to try to get to know each other better: they go to football and then to the club together for the first time.

All five of Vasnetsov's daughters suddenly needed money to buy clothes. And also the grandmother demands the salary for preparation of girls for receipt on biological faculty.

Vasnetsov's best friend, dentist Andrey Antonov, believes that by giving so much time to his daughters, Sergey loses his masculinity and authority. And the sisters help grandmother to find a stranger named Murzik.

Masha is invited to appear on TV show but the role isn't the best. Sergey met a teacher Lyudmila Mikhaylovna who falls in love with him. He decides to get rid of her, as a result of which Galina Sergeyevna gets the bad mark for the first time.

Vasnetsov misses the long-awaited meeting with his friends in order to go to the play in which his daughters play. Masha, Dasha and Galina Sergeyevna are arguing who played the best there.

Pugovka asks dad the question: "What if you are not my dad?", after which he proves by all means and falsities to the children his kinship with them. Meanwhile, the sisters find his resemblance to grandma.

Because of Antonov's nightly romance, Vasnetsov has to do repair in the apartment. Sisters begin to excruciate the conscience because of the "borrowed" from grandmother five thousand rubles.

Sergey doesn't like that Pugovka copies everything Grandma does, so he decides that she should start kindergarten and spend time with her peers, but problems arise; meanwhile, Galina Sergeyevna is preparing for a contest from the Ministry of Education.

Sisters suddenly remember that it's father's birthday. An interesting situation: they think that Dad has forgotten about it, and he himself thinks that his daughters have forgotten about his birthday.

It seems to Vasnetsov that he is an unwanted old ruin for nobody because he was mistaken for Pugovka's grandfather in the kindergarten. It also turns out that the ideal in everything Galina Sergeyevna can't sing.

Sergey's office was on fire, and he invited his rich client to his own home. After that Oksana will begin to doubt whether she wants a child.

Vasnetsov offers Oksana a new method of psychotherapy called "children therapy". The method is simple: she must look after his daughters.

Educational activities initiated by Vasnetsov on the occasion of the end of his daughters' study quarter, fails. Dasha leaves home.

Sergey caught flu; Oksana receives care of him. And at the same time, the sisters are looking after the grandma's flat feeding her spiders and tidying up the apartment.

The Vasnetsov family has love drama: Zhenya starts an affair with classmate Vova, and her father is in love with his client. But both relationships could be destroyed because Zhenya is leaving for a sports board in a month, and Oksana and her husband are leaving for London--maybe for always.

Vasnetsov is tormented by his conscience because he deceived his favorite client Oksana. At this time, the sisters prepare a surprise for their father intending to celebrate The Family Day.
