Victor's sons and bigot son-in-law try 'curing' his gay affair by spending quality time with him, starting with cycling together, but wealthy gay lover Emiel mustn't fear: neither is prepared or professionally able to spend enough time. Jean-Paul has a delicate request for brother Francis: becoming his sperm-donor. Fernand gets locked in his butcher-shop, so it can be robbed.

Infertile Jean-Paul is mortally embarrassed when his wife chooses his firm as row site, so his staff hears her shout he must urgently decide whether to accept Francis as 'natural' sperm donor or she'll ask a stranger. An alderman client for a flower arrangement inspires her to install a telescope, to spy on Francis and his dog-loving flirt; next she brings an arrangement in order to bug his flat. A she feared, a romantic dinner leads to a physical phase, compromising her ambition to be virginal Francis's 'first'.

Due to a misunderstood pub joke, Victor's family and friends believe that he and hay partner Emiel want to adopt a baby. Operation spy on Francis saves him from lading on a railroad-crossing but ruins her only carnal affair ever. Fernand hated his wife practicing for a play several months, but with the premiere at hand, she gets him enthusiastic by suggesting the amateur society and publicity may bring the butchery significant orders.

Fernand blames his sons Marco and Polo's first ever troubled period in boarding school on their gay grandfather, but the supervising teacher and principal are both gay themselves. Francis and butchery employee Betty finally realize they like each-other, but Jean-Paul's wife is determined to scare her off by posing as the other woman is lingerie, to keep him virginal. Jean-Paul finally agrees to his brother providing sperm, but only under excessively restrictive terms. Emile is accepted in Fernand's bowling club, and prepared to take over as sponsor if necessary.

Fernand leaves the butchery, just now it's very busy on account of the neighborhood festival, to join his bowl club. So his wife asks his father to help out, who is as delighted as Emiel to attend the bowls tournament, which means neither actually babysits Marco and Polo, who are happy to spend time in the gay couple's grand home. Francis is commandeered to donate his sperm 'naturally' at Jean-Paul's, but his elaborate demands keep killing the mood, until lust takes over anyhow.

Emiel is pleasantly surprised how openly Francis discusses his love life with him as new 'second father'. Fernand however comes up with another desperate scheme to 'cure' father's gay 'condition': an escort girl, to be paid by the three boys. Jean-Paul grudgingly accepts to pay Francis's share too, due to recent 'services rendered'.

Fernand wants a July holiday, but can't close the butchery that long and refuses to ask his father, however willing just because he's 'still' gay. Francis dares not refused when designated 'volunteer', but given his traumatic history there, including two mutilated fingers, desperately seeks a way out, all the more as his 'fertility' may be required if no pregnancy is diagnosed. Clement offers let a trucker-mate post a postcard suggesting Francis is already in southern France, supposedly to prepare a holiday with his lover. Alas, dog-walking gets Francis locked up in ...

Hardly anyone in De Doncker family remembers uncle Matthieu, who broke off all contact with Victor 35 years for reasons neither told around, but nobody feels they can avoid attending his funeral. Emiel insists Victor should too, to find out why the widow, once his fiancée, never contacted the family so long. Francis is told his fertility will be required again due to sister in law's irregular cycle but they worry about their partners.

Francis is greatly in demand. Victor now knows his brother stole his fiancée Evelyn by claiming Victor was afflicted with his own infertility. She kept silent on account of his wife and kids, but now they move in his apartment together. Emiel seems out of the picture, to the De Doncker kids' relief, but Evelyn proves much higher maintenance and less considerate than the gay gentleman.

Victor deeply disappoints his family by announcing he broke up with Evelyn, albeit if over silly domestic futilities, making him realize Alex is his true love. Only Francis doesn't hear the news, and he has put off till now telling Emiel he's being dumped, only to recant that when Victor arrives. Charlotte semi-accidentally makes Jean-Paul fear she may be having sex with other men, even Fernard.

Victor tells the family he has a rare, terminal viral disease with a short life expectancy, hoping that will make them accept him and Emiel, which is just a ploy. It certain initiates lots of guilt and truth time. Even Fernand now acts nice, so the gay scoundrels arrange for his twins to become external pupils and lodge with them. Meanwhile Francis still has to ask Betty's hand, but arrives at a grim family gathering. His seed finally did its job.
