Angela Vaughn, her daughter and her aunt are thrown into a world of wealth and glamour.

Angela discovers a devastating secret about her mother. Leah attempts to usurp Teddy's position as head of Franklin. Raymond is determined to regain his position. Chaos erupts at the Black Diamond Ball.

Angela wants to make Nikki the face of Eve's Crown and forces Leah's hand about the incubator program. Meanwhile, Raymond confronts Teddy about getting his company back, and Piggy is confronted by her past. Then, secrets are revealed when Lauren brings her grandmother Rose to the annual Juneteenth Rose Ball, where she reveals a family secret.

Angela deals with the tabloids after her paternity secret is revealed. Ange's best friend arrives to help her with the grand opening of her store. Teddy confides in Leah. Nikki and Taylor get closer.

Angela asks Tyrique for a favor. Angela also tries to get Nikki accepted into the Oak Bluffs Cotillion. Raymond confides in Olivia. Leah is shocked by Lauren's behavior. Teddy's condition worsens.

Teddy tries to connect with Angela and Nikki. Alex drops a bombshell on Leah about her former marriage to Raymond. Tyrique discovers a shocking secret about his father's past.

The family gathers around Teddy after his latest health crisis, as Angela and Leah bond over their newfound common enemy Alex, who makes a move to win back Raymond. Tyrique looks to Aunt Piggy for answers about his father.

Angela holds a sistervention for Leah, whose marriage is on the rocks. Teddy's birthday celebration includes trying to one-up Alex and Keep Raymond at bay. Nikki and Nate attempt to bond.
