A family of five on vacation in Egypt are lead into a pyramid during a planet alignment that causes them to be transported to a world with different governing zones. They must escape to a zone that is not harmful to them.

Trace is drafted into being a Zone Trooper. So as the family tries to find a way to get him out, Trace undergoes training and clashes with the Commander.

Paradise is not what it seems. For some it comes at great cost. It could even cost you your life.

Gina and Trace form a rock and roll band and are an immediate success with rock music from our world, however their newfound success acts like a beacon for Kroll to find the family.

While trying to escape from the Zone Troopers, the Starlings are captured by a motorcycle clan that has outlaw family life and substituted a drug induced dream world.

The Sterlings find themselves in a place where women are in charge and men are treated like dirt. Trace gets in trouble cause of a couple of violations. And he ends up being auctioned off and the family tries to buy him.

When the family comes across Virago, a man who looks like an animal, he demands that June remain with him or he will kill all of them. June stays. She learns that Virago is cursed and tries to reason with him. In the meantime, the others meet a man who knows about Virago and tells them how he can be beaten.

Gina is mistakenly identified as the long-lost princess of their newest home Zone and finds the title brings mainly danger to her and the family.
