Hallgrim leaves the hospital and returns to the hotel. While looking out the window he sees Benjamin, a member of the Israeli mafia, beating a woman in the apartment across the street.

Codename Kronos (Part 2) - Hallgrim goes to Berlin in pursuit of Benjamin, who has stolen a currency plate. Michael hacks into Benjamin's computer and a bigger threat is identified. Hallgrim meets with his father before returning home.

In the hunt for Benjamin Stern, Hallgrim's enemy from his time in Palestine, the police continue to decode Stern's computer and discover a massive involvement in illegal arms dealing, which appears to be financed with diamonds from Congo.

Hallgrim's team has linked the murdered Benjamin Stern with arms dealing and with the inter-nationally wanted war criminal Le Mabé who disappeared from his safe house in Sweden.

On Christmas night two bodies are found in a park north of Copenhagen. The clues soon lead to the arrested Congolese warlord Le Mabé and his connections within the Danish Aagaard Group.

Hallgrim and Michael follow Danish businessman Aagaard to Norway while the remaining group tail "Curly" as he is quitting the force to take a job with Flindt in Aagaard's security company.

International intelligence warns of an impending terrorist attack on Copenhagen. The suspect is a terrorist known as "the Dane", and the attack is expected to be a suicide bombing at a major Iraqi wedding.

After an initial misinterpretation of intelligence warnings, the Danish police are still looking for an international terrorist called the Dane.
