After years of not being able to practice as a lawyer, Cadu has the opportunity to work for an NGO. There, the public notoriety he gains leads him to run as a candidate for federal deputy, and with Pepe's unsolicited help, his chances for winning will increase.

Cadu is forced to help Pepe to pass a law that benefits marijuana trafficking, and in order to comply with it, he must get involved in a corruption network commanded by the Vice-President of the House of Representatives Luis Dirceu.

Cadu is in a good moment, facing the corrupt deputies and waiting for his family in Brasilia. But when he is called to attend a meeting outside the Congress, he witness something that will change everything.

Cadu is forced to submit an enormous amount of marijuana to one of Pepe's dealers. But when Malu discovers his lies and Teo finds the drug hidden inside his house, the family begins to crumble.

Téo, who's feeling disappointed by his father, begins to get in trouble at school. Cadu has a great idea to transport Pepe's drugs, but he will need to change his plans after falling victim to an ambush that puts his whole plan at risk.

After all of Pepe's drugs get lost, LD becomes the main suspect of drug trafficking. Téo also joins forces with Zévio to sell the marijuana he found in the slums of Brasilia. Telma discovers the truth about Cadu and Malu is increasingly drifting apart from her husband.

The relationship between Malu and Cadu deteriorates steadily. Téo and Zévio get involved in drug trafficking in the worst possible way and Cadu is going to need to save more lives than just his own.

Cadu manages to escape with Carolina and tries to save Téo from Manco's hands. Malu tries desperately to find her son with Gael's help. Cadu will count again with an unexpected and unwanted help.
