Markus, the dishwasher in Old Hearts Cafe, makes a short film about the evils of technology.

Markus Montage finds himself quarantined at home with no one to connect with other than himself. He finds himself reliving each day, trapped within his own thoughts and over analyzing his existence. Eventually he hopes to return to work at Old Hearts Cafe, but for now he just has his inner monologue, dreams, and reads "Leaves of Grass."

Markus Montage, the dishwasher who works at Old Hearts Cafe, explains how he knows his true calling is to be an artist. He knows he is an artist because he drinks coffee black, has a blog, and knows a lot about cameras. As he talks, he realizes he is drowning in his own memories.

Markus Montage continues to attempt to uncover hidden truths in his filmmaking. He also discovers yet more insights into who he was meant to be. The frequent customer Ricko admires Markus as an artist. And Old Hearts Cafe remains the home of free thought. And free wi-fi.
