Bramwell Brown remembers that many years ago his friend Old Bear was packed away in a cardboard box and put up in the loft for safekeeping. The toys in the playroom try to rescue Old Bear but without a ladder how can they get him?

The toys play a game of hide and seek, but they have forgotten to pick someone to be the seeker. Old bear offers to be seeker and quickly begins finding them except for Little Bear. So the friends search everywhere for him.

The bed is getting very crowded, what with Old Bear, Little Bear, Bramwell Brown, Duck and Rabbit all crammed into it. It is obvious that they need a new, larger bed - but where can they get one from?

Bramwell Brown is busy knitting an extra long scarf when a mysterious box arrives in the playroom. The toys investigate and discover a new friend but they are too big to get out of the box. Can the group come up with a solution?

One morning Little Bear wakes up but cannot find his bright red trousers. He begins searching for them but ends up on a wild goose chase on the trail of the missing trousers. He searches all over the house for them, where are they?

After a party in the playroom some food has been left behind - but it is out of reach on the table. Little Bear suggests that under the table is perfect for a circus. Rabbit is the star of the show and finds a way to get the food.

On a rainy day the rain is coming in through the window of the playroom and dripping through a hole in the roof of the doll's house. The playmates all try and think of a solution but nothing seems to work. Can Little Bear help?

Bramwell Brown and Old Bear find an old basket full of odds and ends. The toys decide to have a fancy dress competition with Old Bear as the judge. All of the toys put a lot of effort into making their costumes - who will win?

The playmates are having fun making cups out of tin foil. They decide to hold a sports day with lots of events. There is high jumping, a sock race and a potato and spoon race. All of the toys seem to be winning except Little Bear.

Little Bear and his friends want to grow an apple tree as a surprise for Old Bear. So they plant an apple pip and they wait and wait for it to grow. Why does it take so long? Bramwell Brown comes up with idea for an instant tree.

One cold day Old Bear and his friends decide to go for a picnic. They pack hot food, wrap up in warm clothes and pull the hamper to the top of the hill. To warm up they play hide and seek but get an unexpectedly exciting trip home.

Jolly Tall the giraffe has never seen snow before so when he asks what it looks like his friends try to show him. They play with 'snow' made out of flour, then paper and then feathers but they don't notice it snowing outside.

The toys are busy decorating the playroom ready for Christmas. Little Bear and Bramwell Brown notice that the doll's house sitting in the corner of the room has been neglected. So they decide to give the dolls a festive surprise.
