Sep 05, 1978
Selwyn arrives at the Paradise Camp as Entertainment Officer in Saddlethorpe. As it is so run down, he starts work repairing it before the campers arrive. His boss is Mervyn Price, the man he offended in the lunch line during the bus stop. He is from Wales like Clyde, and does not appreciate Selwyn's sense of humour. It is going to be a rocky relationship.
Sep 12, 1978
A pilot (Rodney) lands his plane near the camp for repairs. The bread is not delivered that morning so Selwyn goes to the bakery to buy some. Finding out that they are shooting a commercial, he has to get in on it. After screwing that up, he goes back to the camp and Rodney is ready to fly again. Selwyn wants a photo of himself in the cockpit, so Rodney goes to take the picture, and Selwyn flips a switch by accident and takes off.

The Campers are disgruntled because Selwyn has failed to provide any entertainment. He decides to take them to the cinema, but when they get there, they find it has been turned into a bingo hall. So he offers to buy them dinner, and while he is gone, they all get back on the bus and leave him there.

Mervyn hasn't paid the council tax and they won't collect the garbage. Selwyn decides to make a game for the campers. A trolley race to the dump. Only problem is the signs get mixed up and they are lost at a manor house. Selwyn gets lost in a tour and the campers are ordered to take the garbage back.
Oct 03, 1978
Mike the postman gets Selwyn to put a bet on the horses for him. When Mike and Selwyn go to collect, the horse has been eliminated, causing Mike to lose £600 on the winnings. The campers are expecting a Hawaiian night, so Selwyn has left the campers to make skirts out of straw, lei's out of toilet paper, and blackening out of burnt corks. When Selwyn gets back from the Bookie's, the camp is on fire.

This time the campers are angry that there is no swimming pool as advertised in the brochure. Froggitt decides on a treasure hunt by guiding them into the area where the pool needs to be dug. One of the campers finds an un-exploded bomb and everyone runs except Selwyn. He builds a makeshift crane to pull it out of the ground.

Series Finale. Mervyn gets a threatening call from the bookie and runs away. Two heavies are waiting in his office later when Selwyn comes in. Mervyn has run off without locking up the camp for the season, so Selwyn gets Mr Price the owner out of the hospital. Mervyn comes back, and his uncle is angry. Selwyn packs up, and sadly goes back to his mum in Scarsdale.
