The troubled hospital has trouble-shooter Kate Faulkner in charge of the nurses. Wolf gets pulled deeper. Ashley is assigned to a difficult patient. Keon has two. Nazneen has a famous chef. Grace has bed bugs, abused woman, and a cute guy.

A guy brings in a baby. Kate shows off her black belt skills. A bridal party has a shopping cart problem. Nazneen bought a place. Keon is troubled with his patient's broken back.

It's full moon. Grace still hates Matteo. They spot a little boy who is worried about his grandpa back home. A patient feels invincible. Another thinks that he cursed himself. Wolf is forced into a drug heist.

Ashley is assisting a respected veteran surgeon but she spots a tremor in his hand. Grace gets involved. Wolf starts rehab. Cash-strapped Nazneen gets a clown patient. Keon's blind patient has dementia.

Grace and Ashley are still at odds over the surgery, but a mass casualty event at a concert forces them to come together-in ways they couldn't have predicted. On his first day back from leave, Wolf is determined to make a clean slate.

Ashley is now a patient. Grace's lawyer sister has come in for business and Matteo seems to be the target. Nazneen has a code Cheech situation. Wolf's fling with Dr. Turcotte has issues. Keon encounters his past.

It's National Nurses Week. Grace is the social media subject. She thinks that Matteo had slept with her sister. Ashley has a pregnant patient. Wolf has a mute kid. Keon and Nazneen have a divorcee and her contractor.

Assigned to the Burn Unit, Naz and Grace are pushed to their limits as Nurses - and friends - when they disagree over how to deal with a critically burned patient who's in danger of losing his will to live.

Grace is tasked with making a terminal patient's last day special, despite the patient's selfish family and her own emotional response to being part of an assisted dying procedure.

With both patients and the whole Healthcare system on the brink of tragic events, the St Mary's nursing team must put their own struggles aside to help those with everything on the line.
