Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson are on the trail of the Hound of the Baskerville once again, but the result of the case is not as simple as Holmes predicted, and changes his and Watson's lives forever.

Holmes and Watson find themselves in an entirely new century thanks to demonic Sir Hugo Baskerville. Refusing to have this upset him, Holmes sets about finding new lodgings, a new housekeeper, and his first new case in close to a century.

A client and her sister come to Holmes for his help in getting back an antique watch that she was tricked into handing over to a shady con artist. His investigation reveals a truth closer to home for his client, as well as for himself.

Holmes recounts a story from his Great Hiatus Years involving his brother, the woman Irene Adler, and a spate of Christmas themed killings.
