Kolchak and his team investigate a series of vicious attacks at the outskirts of L.A. where possibly coyotes attack and snatch people away from their homes. Carl suspects that the attacks may be connected to the murder of his wife.

A series of incidents where entranced people brutally murder their loved ones lead Kolchak to believe a Charles Manson like cult leader is somehow directing murders from his prison cell. But how does he do it and can it even be stopped?

Kolchak and his team investigate several strange deaths caused by fear. Everything points to an initiation ceremony conducted by a secretive university club that went wrong and the three people involved in it are now in danger.

A series of brutal deaths caused by severe chemical burns point to a copycat of the Burning Man, a vigilante serial killer who was himself killed years before in an FBI raid. Kolchak suspects this could still be the work of the original.

A young boy appears to be in the clutches of an abusive relationship with his father. After a series of bizarre deaths centered around the school the child attends Kolchak begins to think the truth may be far stranger than anyone ever thought possible.

A number of people are found dead with all their body fluids missing. The police suggests it was the use of illegal cleaning products. Kolchak however has doubts about what the killings really represent.

Jain survives the massacre at the Korean Market. Meanwhile, Carl and Perri go on the run so that they can protect a woman who has vital information.

Carl and Perri investigate the death of a woman whose pituitary gland is missing. Thanks to a helpful assistant coroner and an archivist, they soon find similarities to old cases which appear to be occurring every 35 years.

Kolchak is kidnapped by a deranged man who thinks Kolchak has been sending him secret messages through his newspaper articles. He tells Kolchak that the man behind the door is responsible for his actions, and might know something about the death of Kolchaks wife.
