Jeff Artis, a loyal soldier, returns from Afghanistan to his wife Jane. When a masked intruder kills Jane, the police suspect a simple burglary attempt gone wrong but Jeff and his best friend Steve think it's part of something bigger.

Jeff goes to an old friend for advice, but instead finds that there are more questions than answers in this debacle. And he can't help but have the feeling that he's being watched...

Jeff takes Sarge's advice and calls in to his wife's newspaper office, but is left with more questions than answers. He finds himself in a bigger mystery than when he started, and with a new shady friend to complicate things.

After meeting the shady informant who calls himself Doc, Jeff is sent to interrogate a corporate executive named Watson. Unfortunately, the people behind the conspiracy are intent on upping the stakes.

Upon direction from Doc, Jeff sets out to capture an assassin much like the one that killed his wife. When he returns to Doc however, he finds that his level of commitment to his endeavor is lacking.

Jeffs pays a visit to the handler Matthew named. He wants to find out who the agent in charge of the operation is, but he is not prepared to find out who he really is.

Jeff's rash efforts have landed him in a sticky situation, it looks like it's all coming to an untimely end.

It's finally time to end this. Jeff having suffered the losses of both his wife and now Doc will now bring the fight to Zimmer's doorstep, but Jeff doesn't yet know the full story of the conspiracy he has fallen into.
