The premiere of a comedy variety series hosted by Sammy Davis Jr. with guests Diahann Carroll, Jerry Lewis, Mickey Rooney, and The Smothers Brothers.

Sammy Davis Jr. and Johnny Brown impersonate famous entertainers. Michael Landon sings "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face." Rooney leads a skit involving a Viking ship. Connie Stevens plays a starlet discovered at a drugstore.

Featured are Milton Berle and Mickey Rooney portraying two cleaning women who have seen better days.

An alternative version of the Snow White story is presented in jive format. Robert Goulet sings a medley from the hit Fiddler on the Roof. Arte Johnson appears as his Laugh In old man character where he meets a new lady.

Sammy Davis Jr. mimics Al Jolson in a Ziegfeld Follies sketch.

Sammy Davis Jr., Jack Cassidy, Florence Henderson, and Ernie Ford portray competing Santas. The International Children's Choirs sings it theme. Jack entertains with a medley of toy songs backed up by packages with legs.

Sammy Davis Jr. joins wife Altovise in "It Only Happens When I Dance With You" then solos on "Candy Man." Petula Clark sings "You Are the Sunshine of My Life." Skits includes ones about divorce and the Foreign Legion.
