Natsume saw a spirit running around his house to inform that disaster will come. He decides to avoid involving spirits.

A female spirit asks Natsume for help. She says she got separated from her older brother traveling together to return their hometown.

Shibata who was a Natsume's old classmate asks Natsume to meet his girlfriend named Murasaki.

When Natsume was younger, there was a big tree in his school road, and a female spirit lived on the tree. She was often teasing him, but he was too young to understand her behavior.

Natsume and Tanuma help to clean up a storehouse of Taki family. There are a lot of rare items, because her grandfather had studied spirits. Natsume notices one of talisman kimonos is lost.

Natsume finds some spirits who are bleeding and fall down in a shrine's hall.

With the help of Natori, Natsume was looking for someone who robs the spirit's blood. During the investigation, Natsume meets the young head of a famous exorcist clan, Seiji Matoba.

Natsume and Shigeru go on a trip to participate in a pottery class. Hinoe says there are herbs grows that is effective for wound of Nyanko-sensei.

An unknown stone is in the school bag of Natsume who came home, suddenly it murmurs something. Hinoe kick it out of the window luckily, but Natsume has a bad feeling.

Natsume found something glittering on the tree, and then that light got into his eyes.

Natsume worried about Tanuma, he decides to stay at Tanuma's house with Nyanko-sensei.

A dangerous spirit who knows Natsume's lonely childhood appears, Natsume comes down with a fever.

Natsume reluctantly participated in a party of some spirits he has befriended. The spirits drank, got excited, and then ask Natsume to teach a human child's play.
