Mona and Russell get in an argument over a lollipop and decide to play alone for the day. The theme is exploring how much fun it is to play together.

A very hot sunny day leads Mona and Russell to the pool. They learn about the strength of the sun and the joy of nice cool water on a hot day.

Mona is getting bigger every day. Mona learns about the way things grow as she looks at pictures, plants a flower, and eats a really big lunch.

It's raining today so Mona and Russell have to stay inside. They watch a great video, play with play-doe and dance around the living room to Nana's old records until the sun comes out again.

Mona and Russell catch a frog and put it in the bucket. Mona learns the joy of running around free and decides to let the frog go free too.

Mona decides to share some grape juice with her stuffed duck Fleefer, but the juice makes an awful stain on Fleefer's felt face. Mona and Russell learn about sharing as they try and wash the stain out.

It's a beautiful snowy day in Nana's backyard. Mona and Russell build a snowman and decide to keep it warm inside the house. They quickly learn about warm and cold.

Mona can hear something in the backyard but she doesn't know what it is. Mona and Russell learn about the way things get louder the closer you get to them.

Different kinds of homes are the theme. For example, Nana lives in a house, squirrels live in a tree, and snails carry their home on their back.

Mona learns about the way everything talks; from birds to people to animals. Mona teaches Russell and Alice to talk to each other.
