A failed bank robbery ends up as a hostage situation. One of the hostages sides with the highly charged robber, turning out to be even more violent. Ultimately they try to shoot themselves into freedom.

A ten-year-old boy unintentionally creates an explosive atmosphere. Not just between his two different fathers. Criminal Felix Santini wants to see his son.

An anonymous call leads the police inspectors to a supermarket where security guards are said to have sexually assaulted shoplifters.

Markowitz brings African refugees to Hamburg for a cartel. Half the people flee from a traffic stop. While Markowitz searches for the fugitives, the team investigates a complaint of domestic violence.

The men's evening in the red light district comes to a fatal end for the lawyer Quant. One of the guests was Commissioner Erichsen, who really let it rip.

A call from a radio station to dump its partner escalates and investigators have their hands full trying to get the situation under control.

At the Polish border, strangers are stopped by a patrol car for speeding. Then they shoot a police officer.

Erichsen and Kruse are called to a spectacular car accident that night. The person involved in the accident is Jacky, a successful comedian who is on his way to his show. He claims the car was shot and that he saw a sniper on the bridge.

Long live death.

Patrol officer Harry Tönnies and his partner Milla provide the two ATM thieves Norman and Balou after a chase. While Balou surrenders, Norman shoots Harry in the chest up close and disappears. Harry dies in the arms of his partner.

The public threat by a jobless neo-nazi cook to kill a burger joint manager of foreign ancestry, should he not hand him a job, initiates a chain of events, in which both men become partners in crime, and friendship seems possible.

Hamburg is in a state of emergency. A hurricane is raging towards the city and soon everything is under water. As the storm hits the city, a prisoner transport accident occurs, allowing a felon to escape.
