Angel Tom Smothers' mission from above is to give Pop Hardy, the boxing fight manager, his first World Champion. However, Joey Saxon, fight promoter, also fixes fights and, after ordering other fighters to take dives to promote Smothers' chances of a championship fight, orders Tom to take a dive. However, Boxing Board of Control men are at the fight, and Joey Saxon is arrested for fight fixing.
